Not saying he’s as good as these guys stats can lie etc.  but he’s not far off:

If you think of the context in which he is putting up those stats it is way more impressive. He is doing it with an OL in the bottom quartile of the SEC. I am not sure Texas has a WR that would start for OSU. He has 0 run game also.

And all of those teams have a good to great OL with a good to great RB then look at SOS of the teams vs Texas.

Quit stealing my takes and making them your own!!

(Also you forgot SOS)

Mosley would get in the rotation.

Dj Campbell would start for osu. I’m not sure about anyone else.   Healthy Tre over Donaldson?  Baker?

I believe Bo Jackson starts for OSU now. I just said I am not sure a Texas WR starts at OSU. They are insanely loaded every year there.

Now do our offense vs aggy. I’ll take their running backs and receivers.  Don’t know enough about their OL

it went through the defender's hands. That throw is a catch probably 10% of the time. Arch put the ball in danger in the redzone. It was one of his worst decisions. There is no way Sark is saying do that again to Arch. It was very Brett Favre-ish

Earlier in the season, there were plenty of people complaining that Arch put too much zip on the ball when the WR was right in front of him, leading to more difficult catches. For our WRs. Who know the ball is coming to them.

I think that a DB (who, generally, not always, but generally does not have as good of catching skills as WRs) , who is on the move, who does not know the ball is coming, so has to react instantaneously, would generally not be expected to make that catch? At worst, he gets his hands up fast enough to tip the ball and alter it's trajectory, but there is no way any DB is catching that ball at that speed from 12ish yards away.

Unless he has enough stick em on his hands to make it look like he just jacked off an elephant.

But I do agree that it was very Brett Farve like.

Watching the replay the DB was just a bit late and the reason it wasn't picked (which would have been an incredible INT regardless) is because of the heat Arch put on that ball. He ripped it while on the move. It's an elite throw that most NFL QBs cannot make.

I don’t think he was ever “playing like shit” this season. We have had a chuck strong OLine from the start and were focused on play action and deep drops/routes.

He was sped up 200% from day one as the starter against Ohio State. Instant pressure was the standard. Zero run game all season.  When he had time he still played like he was under fire because it was 1/10 plays where he actually had time. He pressed and missed the few easy throws he had.

He still got better week to week until sark pulled his head out of his ass and changed the offense.

He has been world class since and still has no running game and a terrible OL. To make things more fun, the defense has decided to strive for mediocrity

their OL is very good. WRs are obvious A&M advantage. I think they maybe banged up at RB. Plus, Wisner just gets 100 vs rivals. There is no way to explain, but it is just what he does..

No, he was bad for a few games. Ohio state and utep to name a couple of obvious ones. It was all in his head. Glad to see he has come back to earth. Next year should be way different, assuming we get him help from the portal.

Could we just trade offensive coordinators?

Optimus Klein?   I think he’s headed for an hc gig but didn’t he suck last year?

Yes, Klein was the scapegoat for aggy's offensive woes.

Turns out they just had meh receivers, meh OL play, no running back for most of the season, and a QB in his first year starting. Sounds familiar! But no way we turn it around next year.

Arch should at least get an invite to NYC.

Disagree.  Every Heisman finalist gets a mulligan for an off game.  But Arch had too many bad to meh games to deserve an invite.  That doesn't take away from an impressive improvement over the course of the season which sets up nicely for next year if the offensive personnel around him improves even just a bit.

Along with the NYT guy who called him the biggest flop.

You've spelt bottle incorrectly.

All 22 doesn't come in 4k.  Trust me that the WR is about catch the ball in the top left and that's Arch on the far right.

Bianco sounds like a moron. Casey Thompson accounted for 7 TDs in the 2021 loss to Kansas. I think at least a couple other horns had tied that mark since 1915 as well.

Bianco is great at his job. He's worked at UT for three decades, with only a brief period of being out of the job because Steve Patterson fired him. As soon as Patterson was gone, Bianco was hired back. So congratulations on siding with Steve Patterson. I guess it makes sense because when I envision you, it is in a clown suit as well

I was today years old when I found out that Casey Thompson was Hispanic.
