The OKC/Denver game today was huge.  Based on what is going on with the other series, whoever wins this series is likely winning the whole thing.

If Denver wins it all, I think that would be the third rookie coach to win a championship in their first year as a head coach.

The others were the current Boston coach and someone else I can't think of right now.

I think Ty Lue with the Cavs in 2016 was a rookie Head Coach. They fired David Blatt and promoted him, then came back from being down 3-1 vs the Warriors. Good times...

East might be Indy/Knicks.  West might be Minny vs OKC/Denver.

OKC/Denver wins all of those.

I think OKC/Denver could be the real Finals but it all feels very marginal right now. Minny isn't some stepping-stone to the Finals - just ask Denver - and whoever comes out of the East isn't going to be a pushover.

The title still feels very in-play for everyone but GS and CLE if we're being honest (I'm assuming Ws are about to be down 3-1).

Yes, Lue was.

Just a rough game today. Bad shooting on both sides. Game trend started the same as G3 (lost 1st, won the next 2 quarters) just that the Nuggets got their ass kicked in the 4th. Disappointed we couldn’t find AG or CB more when Murray wasn’t finding his shot. Up 6 to start the 4th to go up 3-1 only to lose hurts real bad right now.
Nuggets went ice cold in the 4th after they got the lead.

On to game 5...

Sometimes I can't tell if Russillo is by far one of the best analysts going or if we just overlap a ton in how we view the game.

Truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Jokic is a fucking load and only OKC has the personnel to deal with him.  It's a testament to Denver's roster how good he is.  Murray and Gordon are good but that's about it.  OKC is throwing two bigs out there with some help and that's derailing him.  If not for Gordon hitting some late game shots, this series is a sweep.  What's surprising is how bad OKC's offense is in the playoffs.

So the Wolves don't concern you at all?

What’s he supposed to say? “Man we are losing in 5 or 6, don’t bother buying tickets for game 5, fam”

Yep, no problem with that at all. The alternative is the truth: "We built a good regular season team...again...and the moment was too big for them...again."
