Game 1 prob Philly 2001esque, this series may get really ugly

OKC against Miami in 2012 as well.

I was at Game 2 and it basically a repeat of Game 1 except OKC shot better.  The OKC defense is really all over them.  OKC hasn't played well in the playoff in Game 1's coming off rest so maybe that was it.  Halliburton and Pascal are nice players but OKC's "other guys" are much better.  Caruso and Wiggins has really good shooting games and Chet was more aggressive early on.

Game 3 will be telling.  If OKC wins that, it puts a ton of pressure on Indy in Game 4.  If they go back to OKC down 3-1, it's over in Game 5.

Turrible timing, about to take off from MIA. No onboard video of course. At least I'm not watching it at 430 am.

For the first time ever, I’m watching an NBA game with no sound after a comment Klosterman made. Not only am I enjoying immensely, gone is the rage I usually feel at the commentary. Thanks Chuck!

Think Indy would finish in that 6-9 range if they played in the west

What a limp dick start

Weird take for a team with clearly less obvious, glaring flaws than any team in the West that's not OKC.

They were 21-10 against the West this year, for what it's worth. About a 56 win pace.

Also, every non-OKC team in the West was in the 2-8 range all season.

Here's the thing...

I bought 5000 units at $.16 that Indiana would win the championship game ($800). After game 1 those 5000 units are at $.27 (+$550). Do I take the money and run?

If IND can somehow go up 2-0 I should be at $.60 (+$2200) you would think but if OKC wins it's probably back down to .18/.19 range.

Or just ride it out and pocket $5k if Indiana can win the series.

What would yall do?

$.36 (+$1000) let's go IND!

Though I can't say I feel good about Indiana winning this series. This game felt like fools gold in that if OKC even plays 10% better and make some FT's they would have won easily. Just my opinion from what I saw.

Plus knowing that the Nuggets had OKC down 1-2 and OKC still pulled it out isn't comforting.

OKC shot better from 3 and only had 4 more turnovers. A lot of the FTs were late and somewhat inconsequential.

Indy was the better team tonight and they can do it two more times. Think they may need to win G4, though.

From your mouth to God's ears because I could use the five large (and it would be funny as an anti-OKC fan).

Watched him play in high school. Friendly with his family. His success surprises me not one bit. The kid has been a basketball junkie his entire life. &nbsp

We raised a glass, prior to one of our Pitt football games last season, to his new contract.

my mentor coached him in philly and is close with him. i’ve been a big fan for a long time. i’ve been saying he’s the most underrated player in the league for years, but people are starting to catch on to the fact that he’s awesome, even if he’s a career backup. from what i hear he’s great people as well. what a performance tonight. so easy to root for. hope he wins a ring this year.

apologies.
