Solo TRIP

Flying into London on Monday the 24th of Nov.  Going to catch a Millwall match on Tues and then a Tottenham match on Saturday.   Wed/Thur/Fri to go somewhere else in the UK either day trip or just train out and back.  Manchester, Liverpool, Bath, Cambridge?  On Saturday the 29th Ill want to leave London on a train in the late afternoon to somewhere.  Fly home on the 3rd of Dec. I can add an extra day if needed.

Planes, trains, and automobiles are valid forms of transportation.

I've been to London four times so I've seen all the tourist attractions.

Places I've alerady been fairly recently.

Edinburgh,Brussels, Bruges, The Hague, Amsterdam.   I do love Amsterdam so I wouldnt mind ending up there and flying home. I have zero desire to go to Paris.  I could go back to Ireland.  Haven't been there in decades but I only have 2 to 3 extra nights.

Ghent? Rotterdam? Antwerp? Should I spend a few days in Germany?

What's your issue with Paris?

A. It's a solo trip and I want to save that trip for when I have the future Mrs. Midtown

B. I probably read too much media about it being trash, dirty, expensive and rude french.

Ill get there eventually just wanted to save everyone from instanly throwing out Paris

My friend just did a European tour with his band last month, hit a bunch of cities all over Europe but none in UK. He said Paris and Rome are every bit as shitty and dangerous as advertised. I’d never ever go to either.

I know I’m not well-traveled, I’ve only ever been to the US and Mexico. But if I was you I think I’d definitely prioritize going to a city or country you have never been to before with your extra days, whatever place that may be. You might never get another chance to go. And afterwards for the rest of your life you can always say you’ve been to that place.

Huh, so your San Antonio takes aren't the only things that suck. Who would have thought?

I'm jealous of you seeing Millwall vs Wednesday. Wednesday is my #2 team and that would be a fun one to attend and I'd rather go to that one than the Tottenham/Fulham game.

Well it's easier said than done. One of our club coaches here in SA, who I'm good friende with is from Manchester and played all the way uo to league 1 or 2. His nephew plays for Millwall so he's going to help me get tickets. But I'm always going to see my club play when I'm London .
