Yep, and of course, a no call. Fortunately they didn't overturn the catch, else that would have fucked us. And that no call was far more egregious than the ticky tacky call on Manny covering Jeremiah Smith. But that ticky tacky call was correct though.

He's more likely to lose against the elite coaches than to win.  Until he flips the script that's Sark's modus operandi as far as I am concerned.

This. Very concerning

Serious question, at what point does CDC call him into his office and force him to hire an OC?

I do think Sark is maxed out as a HC (calling plays)

This has been asked after every loss in the Sark era. The answer is never.

Joke’s on you, DeBoer isn’t an elite coach.

What is more frustrating?  The realization that we can’t score against good teams inside the 5 yard line or the lack of awareness of our weakness with respect to how important it is to come away with 3 pts on drives early in games . . . games that are bound to be one-possession ball games at the end?

Say we attempt three FGs on those 4th down calls and miss one of them (I can’t remember how far into their territory we were on one of the failed conversions; two were chip shots).  We’re still only needing to get into FG range on that last drive to have a chance to win it.

When you have a great defense, FGs matter . . . one of the luxuries of having a great defense

I will say that Sayin had a headset on talking to coaches between drives while Arch was sitting on the bench looking clueless because his OC was managing the rest of the game.

We should give other coaches up in the booth headsets, someone should have thought of that.

He beat Saban’s ass on the road. He beat Dabo at home. It’s not all bad.

I expected Arch to show more heart than he did as the QB1. He showed a lot more fire as the QB2. Perhaps all the offseason heisman talk got to his head. I am not a fan how Sark calls these big games, but I am not sure what Sark could have done differently to have Arch play better. Perhaps it has to do with our preparation for big games.

Milroe was terrible in that game and last year's Clemson wasn't very good.

And Georgia has just flat out been better than us, OSU last year was better than us, not sure what you do vs the Washington QB that  couldn't possibly be more accurate vs air than he was vs us.

I thought the OL played well all things considered. Yes, the penalties need to get cleaned up, but considering their first true start together on the road in that environment, it could have been a LOT worse. There were some encouraging interior runs too against a solid DL. I think better play calling and execution at the GL could have yielded better results there too.

Also if your offense cant score in the redzone take the damn points.  If we would've just kicked a few field goals this game could've been a lot different.

Offensive-coordinator Steve Sarkisian is the only thing standing in the way of national champion head coach Steve Sarkisian.

if Arch just plays like he did against Miss State, we win this game . .

I know Ohio State is way better but that defense has nothing to do with throwing short and behind the WR .

In just don’t know wtf happen for Arch to get worse in a year. It just doesn’t make sense

I think he showed plenty of heart. Nice runs, hitting people, etc. Hard to get hyped when all your throws are hitting the turf though.

I don't think he got worse. I think he had a bad game on the road against a very good opponent. Nerves and pressure probably had a lot to do with it.

He'll be fine.

I don't think he showed more heart than an average P4 QB playing a big game.

this.  There were so many more physical WR/DB plays than the one that gave them a first down on their first TD drive. .

Many around here have blocked out the last 17 years.  They think "we are Texas" actually means something other than words.  They hate Sark because he hasn't delivered a "natty", but have no answers as to how it should have happened. Just because they supposed the school, doesn't mean they are any smarter than the average aggy

I disagree Sark's Keynesian propensities are really deflating the Longhorn economy right now. Don't even get me started on his bilateral trade agreement with Albania
