I'm a tightwad, but not when it comes to mom&pops. They most definitely qualify. Just was trying to understand the logic there. Still makes no sense. Why charge more for someone who is a better customer/ lower risk to cancel/ whatever? -
Damn straight. And yes, fuck you, that’s why indeed.

Liverpool FC 2025-26: #20 in memory of #20 Diogo Jota

He has to get Gomez and Andy out there. Kerkez and Konate need to sit. Mo also needs to sit. He does nothing out there. Sending the ball to him produces nothing. I love Mo but he used up all his magic last season. I get why he throws Gakpo out. He's at least trying to create something. Him, Hugo, and Szobo are the entire offense. I'd give him till Inter to right the ship. If he can't fix it he will never be able to. If you can't get right against 17th and 18th placed teams in the table, you're never going to get it right. -
Gents. We are really fucking good. Injuries can always screw things up….but this side is really fucking good

@Derka, Imma be real disappointed if you don’t call out, in the most profanity-laced Surly fashion possible, those of us who were Arteta-out after 0-0-3 -9 all those years ago.

I don’t have any electricity outside at my front door. I got a battery operated Eufy. It has a plug in wireless doorbell with an SD card to store the events. Does most everything the subscription models do. And it’s cheap, like me. -
Ok, but do you believe Alabama was a better basketball job than Texas?

Who votes on the College Football Playoff rankings? There are 13 members on the CFP selection committee. It's a collection of people with experience as coaches, players, college administrators, athletic directors and journalists. Here are the members. Good God almighty, there are 3 women on the CFB selection committee. No comment.

25-26 Dallas Mavericks Thread: The Season of Our Discontent
Drew replied to Bozo_Casanova's topic in Basketball
Yeah I hate to say it, but might be a "get what you can get" from him situation. I'm willing to see what Cooper, and a much older, but not that old PJ can do together with some young guys around them. Keep tanking. -

That’s wonderful. That particular statement was not limited to SEC games. Throw in a road game against Ohio State. Throw in a neutral site versus OU. That 4th road game was against another top 5 team. I guess your implication is correct. 50% of our non-home games against top 10 teams is typical, and we should only play top 25 teams on the road. Go ahead and tell me how we had a bye leading into UF but ignore the fact that Kentucky had a bye, that it was homecoming, that it was at night, that they never led the game, or that we were coming off the OU game. Ignore the thought that OU had a de facto bye leading up to our game. Oh by the way, our 29 point lead versus Arkansas was the most of any SEC team against them. Our 21 point lead versus Vandy is their largest deficit of the season. Ironic they were both home games. And in spite of OU not needing to focus on Kent State, their 17 point deficit to us - also their largest of the season. The season is a grind whether you are in the SEC or not. No team gets up or plays their best every week. More games away from home. Length of time away from home. The more games you have requiring maximum intensity. All those things make the grind more difficult. This team will have had more of that shit than anyone. -
I also eyeballed a similar p90 Gibson at GC yesterday. Something about those things. Yours looks cool as shit.

About a month ago, my wife found out she has breast cancer. We freaked out, of course. But after meeting with doctors, it turned out that she had the best case senario. It was confined to a milk duct and it was detected at the earliest possible time. My wife's family history with cancer is horrible, so she's been doing mammograms and MRIs on a strict schedule, and it was caught. It is what they call "Stage Zero". No chemo or radiation. However, if she chose to just do a lumpectomy, her chances of getting it again in the next 10 years would be 30%, because of her genetic make up. She had genetic testing done years ago. A double mastectomy put her at 1-3%. She opted for the double, I can't blame her. The surgery was monday and it was a great success. She goes back in a couple of weeks for the reconstruction. And yes, she's getting the upgrayyyyed. I've been keeping it together, for the most part. When it comes to big emotions, I'm a bottler. I'm sure it will get out one day, maybe soon. She always tries to get me to "let it out" but I fight it. Just instinct, I guess. I didn't have a bad childhood, where I wasn't allowed to be emotional. I don't know why I'm this way. She's already back to her old self, other than soreness. It's great to see.
