  1. Past hour
  2. I can’t hate CP3 as much as I used to after his year in SA. His career was marred by never having great enough teammates and/or consistently getting injured at the worst possible time. But as far as point guards go, depending on whether you define Curry and Harden as point or shooting guards, he’s probably top 5 all time: Magic, Stockton, Kidd, Isiah and that nut punching whiny asshole Chris Paul. He’s also, as far as I can tell, the last of a dying breed of true table setting pass first point guards. You just don’t see guys play like him anymore, and it’s kind of a shame the way the game has evolved to eliminate that style of player. @ztejas point about him always making his teams better is a great one too. It’s pretty remarkable how he elevated every team he played for (notwithstanding that one weird year in GS). For a guy who never really won anything, he’s in a certain respect one of the great winning players in the game.
  3. ok so both of them are cheating at cornering firce just this once or did they just decide to check extra hard this time?
  4. Unless you’re in Utah.
  5. I know they did. Go figure. I quit work early and flipped between your game and mine.
  6. Exactly. And he squatted too early and too often. We.Are.Doomed.
  7. Little too much positivity here after a skull fucking of a rival team. Did you even see the body language and overall skin perspiration/tone of our head coach? You should be bummed tf out.
  8. It's not bad. Good general Tex Mex
  9. Lane cares about defense now?
  10. Today
  11. Imagine if in 2013 during the BYU game, I told you Manny Diaz would be 1-0 againt Bill Belichik as a head coach.
  12. Xander Berkeley too Forgot Copland. Underappreciated film with a great cast. Yyyeeeww bleeuww iittt!!!
  13. He was just never quite the best player in the league - although he got close. Statistically one of the best careers of all-time. Good playoff performer but not a great one who could consistently win 2 rounds. Kind of a dickhead on the court. He made every team he ever joined better as soon as he got there. And I think that is mainly what will be his legacy along with his steals and assist numbers.
  14. She is just taking a little time off to decide which wacko she should support next.
  15. Unless I missed something I believe that SMU is in the ACCCG now with a win over Cal.
  16. It has a few scenes that are good, but overall this is a steaming pile of shit.
  17. I’ve toyed with getting a bunch of Arlo stuff for the house. Haven’t done it yet, because I’d prefer it to be hardwired, and I don’t feel like getting in the attic.
  18. Wish Udoh had a better season statistically this year. The offense was a mess most of the year with Leavitt being injured for a good chunk of it and then having to let Sims take the snaps after that. I will give the guys credit for being 8-3 when they could’ve folded the tent early in the year. This is a better coaching job by Dillingham and the staff than last year’s run was. If he wins the Arizona game and whatever exhibition game we get sent to play in he will have a team that goes 10-3. Dillingham is worth twice what he is getting paid.
  19. *Inhales* So there are a number of factions within Trump's circles all desperately competing for attention/resources/miney/prestige etc. They all hate each other and actively work to spite each other because they're looking out for their own interests above anybody else. So, one of those faction is the America First/Putin loving faction led by Witkoff, Muskrat, and Eric Trump. They worked in secret to cut a peace deal with Russia that gives them everything they want. They didn't tell SOS Marco Rubio and the details got leaked, so his initial reaction was to call that the Russian proposal because that "peace deal" is what the Russians want. Surprise, the other factions within the Trump admin working directly on orders by the president sat down with the Russians and came up with that deal. The deal is a total fucking joke that guarantees Russia annexes Ukraine and gets the opportunity to rebuild for a fight with NATO. All of this is a fucking nightmare for the security of not just us, but the entire planet. Meanwhile, one of the other factions within the admin has talked the president into invading Venezuela for oil, and flagrantly doesn't give a fuck how much this country opposes it because he wants more oil. They have no intention of providing any info to congress about the nature of our military involvement at all and isn't even trying to manufacture consent. Taking all that in leaves us with the worst foreign policy catastrophe since the end of WW2, the other well covered misadventures had a solid ideological foundation and were sincerely (if not successful) trying to work in the best interests of this country, this shit show is malicious and overtly harmful to the country. Just like the rest of this administration.
  20. No one should think this. Tech should get the only bid. BYU and Utah should go join that ridiculous new version of the PAC-12. BYU has played one good team the entire season and they got embarrassed. Utah gave up 47 today to one of the worst K-State teams since the heyday of the Ron Prince era.
  21. I was actually really surprised by Haney tonight. More pop than he has had before I thought. Benavidez is so good.
  22. Theres another angle that shows him smiling while he slips the punch right before the knockout. There's an argument to be made that he is the best p4p boxer today.
