  2. Classic Beilchick story from Matt Light
  3. Peyton's neck was BROKEN my dude May 23, 2010 – Minimally invasive procedure Reported as a laminotomy/discectomy (removing herniated disc fragments pressing on the nerve root). Goal: relieve nerve compression. Outcome: temporary relief, symptoms returned. March 2, 2011 – Posterior cervical foraminotomy This widens the foramen (bony opening where nerves exit the spine) to reduce nerve compression. Did not fully resolve weakness. May 23, 2011 – Anterior cervical discectomy Another attempt to remove disc material from the front of the neck. Still not effective for long-term nerve regeneration. September 8, 2011 – Single-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) Surgeons removed the damaged disc, replaced it with a bone graft, and fused the vertebrae (likely C5–C6 or C6–C7). A titanium plate and screws were placed for stabilization. This is the definitive surgery but left him with long-term nerve damage.
  4. Yeah, just finished reading the OP and my immediate reaction was “ou by 5.5?!?!”
  5. I found a clip and made a gif from 2023 Spring game.
  6. He's about to rattle off 3 straight NCs now...
  7. You ignore the state of Texas at your own peril, sir. Texas State at UTSA should be a fun game if you can find it on tv. Houston at Rice is one of the most celebrated rivalries in all of ... the Med Center area of Houston. ESPN+ will be blowing up for this one with tens of viewers. No love for Oklahoma State at Oregon? I know Okie State sucked last year, but maybe this one is okay? Boston College at Michigan State isn't sexy, but it interests me. I want to know if either one of these teams is capable of giving bigger conference opponents a challenge this season. I find OU being favored by 5.5 to be fascinating. In most seasons, there are usually a couple of weekends in which a number of upsets occur. At least one of those weekends usually also looks sleepy. Maybe we get a little of that this weekend for our entertainment.
  8. Indeed.
  9. Yep. This is the most entertaining page of the last several.
  10. Pritzker could choose to call up the IL state guard to combat and deter the Tx state guard. 2nd amendment.
  11. Oh this is fine
  12. Disagree - abject lunacy has its place here.
  13. No way, go to Europe. They are awesome to hop between major cities. I’m half-joking, but I’ve said for years that San Antonio should offer to pay the cost of building one to Austin so they can capture tech overflow and weekender-type tourists.
  14. I can remember seeing Peyton do it as well. Not sure if it was later in his career though when his neck/arm started to bother him.
  15. Damn nice he played for THE San Antonio Rustlers?!?!!!!111
  16. Guess that's a good thing for you and her other heirs if she basically withdraws low amounts from a net standpoint. I find it sad though that someone perhaps sacrificed along the way, and does very little with those savings. Who knows, maybe peace of mind is worth it to some. I'm not a YOLO person at all but now in my mid-50s there are experiences or purchases that I wouldn't do now that I might have in my 20s. I would have to guess that the same will occur when I'm in my 70s and looking back on my mid-50s. Nothing wrong with living life now, if you can.
  17. Rainey St Ripper update: there is no RSR
  18. My last 3 European trips were all in the winter. Christmas markets can’t be beat

  20. Don't we all? The longer they go without sharing details, the more you can be sure what they want to do is a bunch of crap.

  24. Hello everyone! My nonprofit is sending a kiddo and his mom to the SJSU game. The student has a mobility impairment and will be using a chair here and there. We are looking for 2 students that need service hours to help mom and push the chair around/hangout and ensure he has the best time possible pre-game. Family will be arriving at 8am to swap their ticket for an ADA one. If you know someone interested, send me a message so we can work out logistics! Link to student going finding out that he is going-
