  1. Past hour
  2. This was probably the number one reason we ended up with a Mustang Mach E over an Ioniq 5 earlier this year. We probably actually liked the Ioniq slightly better as a car. But the dealership experience between Ford and Hyundai was night and day. Ford dealers are still scummy of course because they're car dealers, but they at least give off an air of professionalism. Everyone at the Hyundai dealership on the other hand seemed like they had wandered in off the street earlier that day.
  3. When Sark took over to be Atlanta’s OC after Kyle Shanahan, the offensive production plummeted.
  4. Concedes a point? I think we're all better off knowing what these assholes are lying about, when they're actually lying.
  5. I'm not surprised. I'm sort of the opinion that the people who've started running the lodge on the board are a bunch of pricks, based on their decisions. Like, they keep trying to grow the Czechfest here and then have a fucking hissy fit when they don't have enough volunteers. Like, it gets to be more of a shitshow every year, why do you keep trying to make it bigger? Getting "names" probably dovetails into that. "Lets make this rival Wurstfest!!" Why don't you try making it suck less, before you grow it?
  6. What he said about Kyle Shanahan is so damn true compared to Sark's offense
  7. The Yankees wanted him before he signed with us, once the Blue Jays are done with them maybe we can trade him there, their infield defense is horrible. If we eat a portion of the money maybe we can get a B level prospect in return.
  8. Death to bevels.
  9. I think it is because they are sometimes trying for a 2nd season but still want an ending or cliff hanger. it is hard to thread that needle. Black Rabbit seemed like a one and done though vs. Alien Earth which seemed to always be trying for multiple seasons. (I haven't read up on either so not sure if there was a multi season contract for either).
  10. Maybe the best legislation passed by Dems since the Civil Rights Act https://www.theverge.com/news/794145/california-law-noisy-ad-volume-streaming-services You're welcome, America.
  11. This thread should be pinned so we can find these GIFs easily lol
  12. It's been over. When one side in a two-party system decides -- and succeeds -- to govern via idiocracy and kakistocracy, it's all over but the shouting. The only choice left is who governs the rubble. "Whether the Republic will be rubble" is a question that's no longer on the table, it's been answered.
  13. No more beveled Double Ts? Tech's was one of the few that actually worked.
  14. Agreed. I've never liked the bevel.
  15. I could kind of understand these whore comedians if it was life-changing money at stake. I really can't make sense of Chappell and Burr going to Riyadh. They don't need the money. Especially Chappell.
  16. So turnip is floating the idea of invoking the insurrection act to deal with, as Miller phrased it, the insurrectionist judiciary? Do I have that right?
  17. +1 on The Decameron. That show was funny as all get out. Edit: @RomaVicta, I think you especially would like it. I'm about to start the second season of 1617, an absurdist comedy set in medieval Poland.
  18. Yes I know, that's what fucking depresses me the most, and why I think our democracy is over.
  19. I've watched enough of Burr to think that the segment just didn't work. I've heard him do edgy stuff that never struck me as anywhere close to the bro shit that is out of control in the Roganshpere, etc. Still really disappointed in the Saudi stuff though.
  20. the content is interesting, but goddamn I cannot stand the AI voiceover that has become endemic to YT
  21. They can focus on policy on the back end, but in order to get in control (legally), they have to play the game as it exists now. And that is NOT talking about policy. That is dumbing it down to appeal to the most basic dumbass voter.
  22. I saw another recent video describing how Russia is getting a large amount of their artillery shells from North Korea due to Russian inability to manufacture enough on their own, and this is before the destruction of the ammonia facility. Just like NATO providing older kit to Ukraine, it turns out that North Korea is not willing to give Putin their good stuff, but are instead giving them their older artillery shells. Apparently 50% of fired Nork shells are duds, rather significantly impacting the effectiveness of Russian artillery.
  23. Nope, not us. We've played Lodge 88 before, been a long time, they like to get the "big names" (yes, there actually are some), the whole thing is who knows who, and over there is favoritism... Tough to squeeze into these handshake deals. Have fun if you go.
