Trump needs a distraction, so this is really bad timing for Leon - might just get him called up in front of Congress. -

That’s weird. The YouTube clips are released in real-time as the program is actually being aired. It’s tonight’s show. The interview is always a second clip, so you get to watch the entire episode.

Texas Football 2025 - We’re Never Losing Again!
SL Xpress replied to closetojumping's topic in Football
Yeah, I don't think there's much disagreement there at all. I do feel like we have some deep ball threats. Maybe not to the extent Worthy/Bond/Golden were, or even Mitchell. But I feel like Wingo can be more of that dude than he has been so far, and Livingstone has shown he can beat people deep. But he has to be able to make the throws to wide open receivers, which is not just about making the actual throw. It's about seeing it as well. The game still needs to slow down for him. But that's something of a different part of the equation from the yips. Colt McCoy needed the game to slow down for him before he went from what he was his first two years to what he became as a junior and senior. But he wasn't missing wide open guys in his first two years. He was simply not seeing the coverages as well as he did later on. And he increased his accuracy to inhuman levels, and even quickened his release, when it was already really good. But yeah. Manning doesn't need to be elite. He just can't be awful. And those first three games he was awful. The competition wasn't a factor, whether it was Ohio State or UTEP. In any case, an awful Manning can put all kinds of stress on the offense, regardless of opponent. My main point wasn't about Manning, though. It was about Florida. They're either on the precipice and we just need to push them off, or they've already jumped off the cliff, and we just need to hand them a bag of rocks so they'll drop faster and hit harder once they reach the ground. Like they say, it's not the fall that hurts, it's when you reach the ground. -
I ate there a couple of times and it was great. I love Korean food. Helped that I spent so much time at Park MGM.

Is Woods gone to the draft this year? That’s one I wanted to see head our way last year -
lulz hahaha "Libertarians” always fail because libertarianism does not exist—except in the minds of spoiled manchildren whose brains stopped maturing at puberty. Every. Single. Time. There is no country today that is fully or purely libertarian, as the ideology prioritizes personal and economic freedom beyond the scope of any existing state . Instead, some nations are considered more libertarian due to their higher levels of economic freedom, protection of civil liberties, or a tradition of decentralized government.

It’s the juxtaposition. -
I think that he no longer needs his needle valves in his stems. A good Samaritan would remove them for him.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a tailgate or cook off where the whole hog was actually good to eat. Really sucks that beef is so much more expensive.

No man. The best Depeche Mode intro song was Personal Jesus. That was the song you strutted into with a hot girlfriend in the 90s.

I think this covers a few common themes here

I have all episodes programmed to record, but this one isn't in my DVR? Anyone else have this issue?? I have DISH, by the way (I'm old).

No. Only when the person making the threat is a Fox News watcher and the target is a “leftist.” See also the fact that none of these folks cared about “violent political rhetoric!” When it was getting dozens of Hispanic, black, and Jewish people killed. But one white dude gets shot, and it was POSSIBLE that it was politically motivated…and we MUST take all action including unconstitutional action to stop all violent rhetoric (but you know, only leftist stuff).

I guess I'm saying he needs to be average at best to win a lot. If he's actually good that's a deep playoff run. The deep threat is real, but I agree that it seems like we don't have as much of a speed assassin that's gonna get 2-4 looks a game wide open behind all the DBs. Quinn made 1 out of like 10 or more of those throws, Arch has shown that he can do that much better, which opens up the possibility for him to be elite if he can get the short and intermediate game down like Carson Beck. -
Drifterwood started following Florida Gators
-
Our own proclivity for playing like shit on offense is way scarier than anything Florida is going to throw at us. And that’s plenty of reason to take a cautious approach to this game as a fan.

I gotta confess, I was a little surprised to read he was 65. I guess probably because he would frequently act like he was 15.

Actually existing libertarianism: Argentina's economy is in free fall under libertarian leader Javier Milei. The currency is collapsing, the bond market is in crisis, the huge bubble he inflated in the stock market has popped, and manufacturing output (ie, the real economy) has crashed. Milei was already gifted a $42 billion lifeline from the US-controlled IMF and the World Bank (after Argentina already owed more debt to the IMF than any other country), but even that was not enough to stabilize Milei's crazy Austrian School experiment. So now the US government is pledging to bail out the proud self-declared "anarcho-capitalist" Milei by giving him even more money through US swap lines and buying Argentina's bonds and currency with US Treasury funds. The US government is doing this not only to prop up one of its most loyal puppets in Latin America, but also in order to benefit wealthy US investors who hold Argentine stocks and bonds, and US corporations that want Argentina's lithium.

at least then we could all address that we've ACTUALLY got an antichrist on our hands

If this was to be legally upheld, would that not mean that all death threats would fall under the same protection?

Are we disagreeing? I feel like that's exactly my point of view. He made the throws in practice. Then in games he short circuited. That's what I mean by the yips. I do not believe for one moment that's now gone. He needs more positive reps during game time so that becomes his earned identity. I also feel like people who want to point to other aspects of the offense are going pink elephant in the room on us. When Manning is fubaring on plays that either make first downs or get us ahead of the chains that end up creating 2nd and 10 or 3rd and 10 series - or force us to punt, or give it over on downs - that's setting everyone else up for failure. We don't need Manning to be spectacular to have a very successful season. But we need him to make the easy throws for sure. -
