  2. All true, but Texas has brought upon itself the extra burden of proving recent stumbles aren't just continuations of being "soft" or "underachieving." OSU and Michigan were in the same boat until they finally broke through. We'll remain in that category until we add to the big strides we made in Tuscaloosa or Ann Arbor instead of our recent stumbles as favorites in Gainesville, Starkville or Lexington. Hopefully Arch now can help us break through on the road against a QB we sadly failed to beat 11 months ago.
  3. The Athletic confirms https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6783787/2025/11/06/marshawn-kneeland-dead-cowboys/?source=user_shared_article Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland died Thursday, team announces
  4. Overnight stuff usually ends up being a car wreck.
  5. Hopefully the approach improves from pull everything into the Crawford Boxes we have seen in the last 4 years.
  6. Go ahead and change your handle to Elton.
  7. Yeah, throw a little bone to the people who already paid their bills this month, you corporate fuckbags.
  8. I think he's taking the Dennis Taylor persona a little too far.
  9. … and Blues G, Jordan Binnington, tried to keep the puck. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6782581/2025/11/05/jordan-binnington-returns-alex-ovechkin-900th-goal/ Too bad Tim Wilson wasn’t given an opportunity to “retrieve” the stolen valor …
  10. I just got off a chat with a United rep. He assured my my SAT to SFO would not be affected becuse Im on a international ticket. Ok buddy. I'm sure everyone flying domestically from SAT to SFO on Monday will be happy to hear that their flight won't be impacted becasue midtown is on the flight. Good lord. So now Im on the phone for 6 hours trying to see about getting over to the IAH to SFO
  11. New CFP selection idea: at the end of the year feed all the results and analytics into AI and run every permutation of every possible FBS schedule for every team 200,000 times. The 12 teams with the most simulated wins are in. I’m workshopping some ideas where we just eliminate the regular season entirely. Replace the games on TV-with curated AI-video matchups that are representative of the simulations. Drastically cut travel and event costs but still demand lucrative media rights. This is how disrupters think.
  12. I have a couple of knives and a couple of pans that my wife has no idea exist.
  13. The only fix is to remove officiating at the conference level. Make officials regional and they get assignments based on competency. So, a crew in the Southeast could work CUSA, SEC, BIG 12, Sun Belt, and American conference games. A crew in the midwest could work B1G, MAC, etc. But the biggest problem I see is gambling and prop bets, there is no way you are going to find 600+ honest dudes to work a college football weekend.
  14. Just sharing an Arkansas baseball commit that seems appropriate for this thread.
  15. Local SB chooses to adopt and offer the Bible class. It's offered by the state now as an optional class. I doubt it stays in here, but we will see. SBs can help fight back against the 10 Commandments bullshit. The last board had several 7 Mountains believers who push this stuff. The last Board also chose to remove 13 chapters of our kids textbooks that covered vaccines, climate change and contributions of people of color throughout history. This also forced the ISD curriculum advisors to re-write the chapters to remove the controversial parts, which creates more work for no reason. I expect that to be reversed immediately. The last board proposed, but failed, to pass a measure to add chaplains to the schools, which is another way to push religion through schools. Also would be a waste of money to hire them when we have huge budget deficits. One thing that was added a few years ago was a LOHE for the district that has reduced the overall per student tax revenue to the lowest in the state, around $9500. This can't be changed until 2028, but it will have to be removed since the ISD can't operate without that money. They are getting less than the 10k voucher that private schools get from the state, how insane is that? Previous Board leader is a trustee for a private school and was a huge proponent of vouchers and Christian Nationalism. I will be happy to see her greedy fat ass gone in January.
  16. That’s cool. You’ll have plenty of power sources too in the beer garden. Also, they’re getting a Muledick tap going. They had all sorts of ideas so we’ll see what they come up with. For intense security purposes I can ensure they strictly enforce the entry password. Without it, you shall not be granted entry access.
  17. I hope you had the salty malty to finish off the meal. That's one of my favorite desserts.
  18. Pero ese culo
  19. I get it. It’s human nature to speculate, and it wouldn’t be the Surl if we didn’t. Myself included. I’m just saying speculation is all it is at the outset. Rarely do you get solid facts beyond “the plane crashed and the crew is dead.” That much we can see with our own eyes.
  20. The De Buyer 12.5 (32 cm) has a helper handle. My two Matfer pans are traditional with the sloped sides, but that brand is a bit shallower than most, which is what ATK like about them before they bought into the local-French-recall nonsense and disavowed them in favor of Mauviel, which since has been recalled under the same circumstances, but I digress. My two De Buyer pans both are omelet pans, and the sides are much shallower. But that 11" omelet pan is thick and heavy (heavier than a comparably sized Matfer). Of the regular C/S pans, De Buyer appears to have higher sides than Matfer.
