  1. Past hour
  2. I mean, your post isn't even satire. St. Ronnie, the Most Exalted Republican POTUS ever.....without even trying, I could find better than 100 exact quotes from him that, if I shared them with MAGAts without telling them who said them, they would go apoplectic attacking the soy boy commie libtard who said such things. We live in a world run by people who legit think that Ronald Reagan was a soy boy commie libtard. This is not just the dumbest timeline ever. It's the dumbest timeline POSSIBLE.
  3. Track dried out 20 minutes too early for the mustangs. Both on the podium to 6th and 8th in a hurry.
  4. Of Michigan can fire Sherrone Morre and actually land a coach in the next 2 years, I think Bryce Underwood could be very good. Moore should stick to o-line coaching, and not under any circumstances be a HC at a school like Michigan. The only good thing he did was lean on his stud transfer RB Justice Haynes (the one I begged and wished we had gone after), and he kept them afloat from making the score look better than it actually was. The only thing going for Michigan is they have a pretty easy schedule with games against Purdue, Northwestern (who may quite literally have the worst QB in all of P4, Preston Stone. I'll give CTJ props for calling him a bust as a recruit), Maryland, Michigan State, Washington, Wisconsin, and Central Michigan. Nebraska will probably beat them, USC, if they aren't a fraud, should beat them, and Ohio State is a coin-flip at this point. They could easily either lose either 6-7 games or win 8-9, it's hard to tell with that league. Mateer looked OK. I didn't come away thinking "Wow! He's gonna be awesome!" He looked pretty good, at best. Our defense can shut him down. Their defense didn't look very intimidating against the run, and it's hard to tell against the pass since they faced a true frosh who clearly wasn't ready to face grown men. Ou looks beatable. Pre-season polls are dumb, I agree, but they have to have something to sort teams out, and it gives players motivation. No team looked absolutely dominant in 2 weeks. Oregon looks pretty good, but they played sisters of the poor, and Ohio State thumped an HBCU. Florida lost to South Florida, but I don't care. Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois at home last year. Are they the same thing? Probably not, but it's week two. Not to mention Napier is still coaching. Aggies defense looks absolutely horrendous, and their offense is pedestrian. Georgia looks...well, like shit. They have a worse QB than us right now. LSU is a fraud like always under Brian Kelly. They put up a whopping 23 points on La Tech. At the end of the day, everyone has to get better, and no one out there looks dominant.

  6. Did he make it?
  7. This is what happens when you give 3000 lawyers nothing to do or no consequences for not doing anything.
  8. No more departures. 18 cast members for S51. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/tv/article/snls-new-cast-is-complete-whos-in-and-whos-out-for-season-51-see-the-full-list-171703043.html
  9. People say the wildest shit for real for real. lol
  10. Generally speaking, the rule is snow could happen from Halloween to Easter, but 2 years ago, we had snow on Oct 14 or so in Amarillo. This summer was amazingly mild, and last week was awesome with 2 days with highs in the 70's. The 90's are creeping back into the highs for Tue-Wed-Thu this week; but then we appear to be headed for more autumnal lows in the 50's on the 10 day forecast. Love this time of the year, especially October. Hopeful the blastfurnace is done after this week!
  11. I can believe he had a half dozen other bad throws in the game.
  12. I've been playing electric for a long time. I wanted to be Paul Gilbert when I was a kid and got decent, but the kids on youtube today blow me out of the water even at my best. I dabbled in acoustic and learned some songs in my teens and 20s in order to get laid, with varying success (the getting laid part). My trick was to learn the guitar part so well that I can have a conversation at the same time, and then singing it was easier. A couple of songs I remember playing and singing well were My Drug Buddy by the Lemonheads and Deperately Wanting by Better Than Ezra. I can sing okay. My head voice and my bridge really needs work though. Like right off the bat I know that the Keane song, Radiohead, and the Crowded House song are gonna be a challenge. I have to shake off the rust for sure, but should be fun. I'll only be playing for friends and family.
  13. Buddy of mine was at the Rose Bowl show last night. He has also seen them in Manchester and at MetLife last weekend. Since I already knew he would say Manchester if I asked him which was his favorite, I asked him this morning which was his favorite between NY and LA shows and he said LA was the clear winner. He’s been sending me videos and from every show he goes to and they sound damn great.
  14. He doesn't remember that game.
  15. If it were just that throw, that would make a lot of sense. Someone posted a video on twitter that showed him making the same face on half a dozen other throws in the game. Apparently that’s part of his throwing ritual. To look like someone just jabbed a fork into his eye socket.
  16. Never played football. I feel that speaks for itself, and I am highly qualified to solve this once and for all. I brought up some Youtube clips of Arch last year and played them at 0.5 speed, for absolute science purposes. His angle of release this year, using my Westcott-Manual clear protractor overlaid on the screen, is 42.3° Last year it was 44.8° My Surly Diagnosis® -- Arch has a torn rotator cuff, and possibly lupus. He'll be lucky to live to see Halloween.
  17. Isolate yourself is the best advice i can give. Wear a mask if you have to go out. I FAFO the hard way.
  18. My wife and I got married in late September here in Austin, and the weather was phenomenal. Way more years than not Mother Nature repeats herself. It doesn't need to be in the 60s to be glorious.
  19. we'll hold shit down while you're gone. hopefully you come back to something better someday. hopefully.
  20. Hoping Simon gets some carries this weekend to see if he’s got something we can work with at this stage, especially if we’re gonna hold Wisner out again.
  21. Serious movies Rocky - 70's underdog, come from the gutter to glory sports movies for which there are dozens now Schindlers List - 90's harrowing doc on the camps, etc. Nothing like it before or after on that scale. Saving Private Ryan - late 90's film with brutal reality. Spawning BoB and the Pacific and the Flags of our Fathers movies. Pixar Toy Story kind of started it all Marvel/Superhero Blade - the first bad ass production movie that was a box office success. Blade was the OG, spawning a whole host of subsequent Marvel movies that made gazillions
  22. Everyone here(Texas) thinks we are crazy for picking up and moving. I just couldn't keep staring my wife and daughter in the face day after day and telling them it will be ok. Meanwhile the state of Texas is showing it's ass week after week. I had to do something.
  23. Florida State would like a word with you. So would Bama, Josh and Lane.
  24. Finally you win at something. Comeback of the day!
