If they want to go all in, they should ban public state universities from giving athletic scholarships to foreign athletes. Hell, ban non-Texans from athletic scholarships also if you really want to take the stance that public funds should only support Texans.

I don't know. I'm trying to keep my expectations for Caldwell tempered. It seems highly probable that he is a decent but limited QB who has just happened to play well in brief moments. The sample size for his production against quality opponents is just too small. If that's correct - and I honestly hope that it isn't - then we may need Manning to beat Vandy. If Manning can get cleared and he wants to play, then I hope he plays. It would be better for us if Caldwell can give us enough to win on Saturday and we can afford to let Manning rest, but I just doubt that's the case. But maybe that's just my battered longhorn syndrome acting up again.

I think you could simplify this by just stating "Sark is coaching college players". Because I see the same shit with damn near every team I watch. It just pisses us off more because it's our team fucking up. Drops and underthrows more of a problem this year than last for sure. Of course, UGA dropped more passes last year than damn near any "good" team I've ever seen but still won the SEC.

More reason to not be so fat.

For a long time, the only people that liked Medicare were the people not on it. So, yeah, those who have been on Medicare for a while, who are reliable voters, might have seen it as making a shitty system more ubiquitous. I think, though, they have gained a new appreciation for it as they hear about their children paying $1500/month for health insurance.

U.S. Beef Industry in absolute crisis

3 locations in Houston, one in SA, one in DFW. @Brisketexan Bojangles is chicken strips only so not really the same conversation -
He focused initially on offense only and then shifted to pitching and the Brewers let him do both. He was pretty good for a short stretch. Your point about the difficult of just being great at one position is valid, but sucked is harsh. Many MLB players have sucked at one position more than he "sucked at both."

Honestly didn't know they had moved into Texas. Only one I've been to was in D.C. I'll check the one out in Dallas next time I can. The chicken is elite. The hotdog pasta, not so much, but it apparently has a cult fanbase. -

Yep. Tons of alternative and better options isn't helping either. Popeyes slams hard. Chick Filet is the gold standard. Then you have all the tender places like Canes/Laynes/Chicken Express. Now that Nashville 'Hot' chicken is matriculating in, it's even worse. Every now and then I used to grab KFC snackers, but they're meh as well unless it's close and there are no other options. The fact that they share a store (many of them) with a Taco Bell is the holy grail of "why did I fucking order that" post-order syndrome -

25-26 Dallas Mavericks Thread: The Season of Our Discontent
'stache replied to Bozo_Casanova's topic in Basketball
"According to The Dallas Morning News, the Mavericks filed a petition alleging that the Stars breached a clause in their agreement that requires both teams’ headquarters to remain inside the city of Dallas. The Stars have operated out of Frisco since 2003." https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/dallas-mavericks-stars-lawsuit-arena-agreement/3938104/ I checked and it looks like the City of Dallas still owns the building, so what the ever living fuck do the Mavericks care where the Stars are headquartered? Sounds like something the City of Dallas might care about and they apparently haven't for more than 20 years. How do the Mavs even have standing on that claim? What's the end game here? I understand and support football and baseball teams in the same city having separate venues but why the everliving fuck do NBA and NHL need separate arenas? What is so wrong with the AAC that they need replacements? I'm already done with these cunts, but moving to Irving would be icing in the cake. I'm still mad at the Rangers for not moving to downtown Dallas but was never emotionally invested either way. I prefer NFL venues downtown but at least that's 8 games a year plus playoffs and on weekends with a few Thursday/Monday games. Baseball is 80 home games mostly weeknights, I don't know how Dallas residents can make those games considering the traffic, lack of transit, cost of parking, etc. Anyways, fuck the Mavs, fuck that lurch looking mother fucker, and double fuck the horrid cunt in charge. -

Republicans approve of the job he's doing. I'm not sure how that helps non-fascists, though.

Yeah? And that state hates him now. I dispute the notion he is popular.

The Athletic Scoops Sark interested in NFL Jobs
closetojumping replied to TexasMan's topic in Football
It's not like the plane story was ever public. We gossipped about it on the recruiting board, if memory serves. The biggest thing regarding Herman's wife that was ever a public story was her alignment with Zach Smith's battered wife and her aiding the woman during times of need. Also, she was smoking hot. I think these things happen everywhere. Cleat chasers and coat chasers often become girlfriends, wives, mistresses, you name it. Hell, the shit that was out there about Barnes was as scandalous as any of this two decades ago. I assume if we were all USC or Georgia fans, we'd have stories like this about coaches and players there as well. I can tell you that the shit coming out of Bama for 18+ years behind the scenes absolutely holds a candle to anything we can throw out there right now. Kiffin was banging cocktail waitresses two at a time! Players couldn't get a drink at the table. -

I've looked at their schedule. They ain't losing two before the playoffs. I would love to be wrong, but I won't be. -
