Nancy Mace: Sexual assault survivor or cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs?
South Austin replied to C-Man's topic in Cloak Room
She won't get it, and will instead be elected as South Carolina's next governor. Posts like this will only help. -
Broadly speaking, though, a .50 cal or 12.7 is a major destruction machine. Why in the blue fuck was your friend hunting deer with a .50 unless it was extreme long range? That seems like it should be illegal.

Ana, do you believe that the Epstein jail footage released by this fbi is legitimate and accurate? I don't think these texts were fabricated, but I don't know how you can believe anything this admin puts out particularly when the director of the fbi, the ag, and the president for the last few days have all been saying this is the work of a vast trans terrorist network. -
Texas Football 2025 - Careening Towards the Abyss

We didn't have our best RB against SJSU and UTEP. Look, the truth is likely in the middle. Of course we aren't an elite running team...BUT....we ran the ball well enough to beat a top 5 ranked defending national champ in their stadium. Sark's idiotic playcalling in the redzone is not rocksolid proof that we can't run the ball. -

When you go into the espn app, look for login, then choose login with tv provider. It’ll make you verify either on web or yttv app on phone. Once logged in, no problem. espn+, sec+, whatever. ETA: this is my setup, works just fine. -
Ronnie Barrett disagrees with you Not really. Anecdotal, but I was in the blind with a friend that took a small-ish doe with a .50. She ran off. Zipped right through her. The founder of Delta Force, Charles Beckwith survived a .50 shot to the abdomen in Vietnam.

Markets still falling like whoa
Brisketexan replied to Llano Estacado's topic in Business and Markets
Yep. Does this sound familiar? And what are we the people doing? Biting on the divisive idiocy fomented by those same "wealthy and well-connected," to distract the 99% from the structural buttfucking we get from the 1% (truly, the .001%). The enemies of our stability and prosperity aren't college grads, they aren't immigrants working in restaurants, they aren't drugs, they aren't gays, they aren't religion. The enemies are....the things in the paragraph above. And structurally, we're there. We are in the climax, and we are doubling down. The market will eventually take its beating, as most every other indicator already is. -

The destruction of America's public education system
CooterBrown replied to Captainant's topic in Cloak Room
My first guess would be that Pillow & Wooten would merge since they're both under enrolled and really close to each other. If you eliminate transfers, then Gullett & Brentwood fall within the ideal 85-95% capacity range. It seems like easy fixes for 4 schools. However, from the Dobie/Lamar meetings months ago, eastside activists were pretty insistent that white schools need to suffer. Gullett hasn't received any real construction money and is in terrible condition. Most classrooms are portables. They actually still use the very first portable AISD bought in the early '60s (the Speech portable). That is an extremely valuable piece of property and I would think developers have had discussions with them. I fear for Lamar also. That has to be some valuable land at Burnet/2222. Burnet and Dobie MS are right down the road. If you split the higher performing Lamar students to those campuses, it can lift them out of their F ranking. If students from the bad schools move, the F rating follows those students. So, from a ratings perspective, it makes more sense to close a better performing school and disperse those students. -
All Encompassing Mortgage and Real Estate Thread
CHIEF replied to UTPhil2006's topic in Business and Markets
Back to scammers. We had a guy call up, said he is battling cancer, and needs to sell his waterfront home, here in Granbury. Well it is within walking distance of the square, built in 2023. We ran comps and were going to list it at $1.75mil. We had walked the outside of the house, and it is absolutely a killer place. This guy even goes as far as to sign a listing agreement, as the owner of the property using the real owners name. The owners live in Littleton, CO, we asked if there was a key hidden. The scammer said he needed to ask his wife, she said she couldn't remember, so he told us to just call a locksmith and have him change the locks. My broker (Mom) said that we wouldn't do that, that he needed to call a locksmith and give them his credit card number and authorize it himself. Things got real quite suddenly. On a hunch, Mom found the wife's phone number online, and when she called the lady answered. The lady was blindsided, she said her husband is fine, and that they have no intention of selling. The Granbury PD is involved now, they have the guys number and real identity, he is in Houston, so I don't imagine anything will come of it. So, beware of people that are wanting to sell their out of state vacation property, and are not willing to come meet you face to face. There have been other scammers trying to sell people's vacant lots around town as well. County records departments are going to have to come up with a game plan to keep this from happening. Maybe require the seller to go to the courthouse and verify ownership, and the sale before issuing a deed. At least on property that is not their primary residence. CHIEF -
My favorite ones so far are the palm gun shooter take, and the baseball signs guy calling the shot. The drone bird controlled by the Jews is also pretty ripe, but it's all just absolute lunacy on display.

I sprained an ankle once so bad as a kid that they put it in a cast. No boots in those days. But doctor actually told me I’d have been better off breaking bones than having all the ligament damage. Took a good while to heal and I fought sprains with that ankle later in all my sports through college. If Yordan tore ligaments it could be a few weeks to a couple of months. Bones heal, chicks dig scars but ligaments are a bitch.
