  1. Past hour
  2. Welp. My bingo card just fucking sucks. Didn't have "Police called in to calm out-of-control golf hooligans". You stay classy out there on the links, 'Murica.
  3. If I never see Heim mope and pout walking away from the plate after flailing and missing, it will be too soon.
  4. That’s the problem.
  5. So it looks like we’re going to spend 6 days in Paris broken up by three days in Aix. Have Septime booked for dinner, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and Musee D’ Orsay booked (Notre Dame doesn’t accept reserves until two days before). Any other must-do’s that aren’t time consuming? Our hotels are in Le Marais if that matters.
  6. Hopefully nobody here took the bad beat with Indiana taking that ridiculous safety. I had Indiana -7.5, so a loss either way. Can't imagine having it at -6.5
  7. Appointing a billionaire booster as the czar of all of college football seems like a smart decision.
  8. GOD DAMMIT TO HELL!!!! I was typing a long response, did a quick search in the wrong window, bounced out of Surly, OH, SHIT!!! I hit the back button, and nothing was there!
  9. Louisiana - deep south Kentucky - Appalachia
  10. Jeff Bezos borrows 25B in November of 2021. Amazon stock price $183. Whats the status of Jeff Bezos face in Dec of 2022. Amazon stock price $84.00? His 500B just took a topline haircut of 250B and his loan collateral is underwater 12B. I'm sure the lender is going to demand more collateral. Oh by the way rates are going to jump 5% in the next 12 months. So again what is easy about that?
  11. That is literally impossible. Conner was asymptoting towards the worst runblocker in Texas history. He was scraping near an area under the curve known as The Jason Glynn Experience and you do not want a player anywhere near that realm. Stroh might actually be the worst runblocking lineman in Texas history, but that's only mildly worse than Conner. I'll get shit for this, but this post reminds me of the thought I had last year when Kelvin Banks got hurt. "Why does it have to be one of the guys that you don't want injured?"
  12. Please don't take this the wrong way, but do you actually think that every dumbass shit you see on facebook is real?
  13. "Hello, fellow adults."
  14. This is the crux of it all. I was raised a progressive Protestant (Presbyterian). I harbor no ill will towards Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists, etc. Based on admittedly limited experience, I don't think LDS beliefs overall align all that well with Christian beliefs, but that matters not one bit to me. I don't hold my Muslim friends to that standard, for instance. Just stop killing people. Full stop.
  15. ABC to the death!
  16. It's the merlot of whites. Gross.
  17. That's what the he was asking about.
  18. The mini corn dogs are safe, though, right?
  19. John Tyson is who recruited and funded Calipari. Arkansas will get the money for players if they bring in the right coach. Lots held back because it was a waste with Pittman. Will the AD survive? Lots of blame on him right now.
  20. I had the exact same thought watching that shit live.
  21. My relatives have been harping on the Petrino hire since day 1 last season. When we were up for last year's game, the tailgate chatter was hyperfocused around losing big to Texas so Petrino could take over. It's a bizarre fixation. I laughed listening to Arkansas fans bitch to me about Texas not beating them badly enough. Bizarro world.
  22. I’m not a Stroh advocate, he’s generally bad with limited athletic upside. He’s very strong though and it shows up sometimes. I was a Neto believer, but he couldn’t beat out Hayden Conner and lost his inside track position to Connor Stroh. No longer a Neto believer. I’d like to see someone else get into the rotation, but I understand why that won’t happen, so I’m hoping for the best with the red headed kid with the gracefulness of a boulder.
  23. So Alabama could have Tuperville and Finebaum as senators? Making a run against Texas, Oklahoma, Florida as dumbest state
  24. Louisiana isn't the deep south but Kentucky might be? You're overthinking this. I have a very simple rule: are there pine trees? If yes, you're in the south.
