The odds suggest he will. It isn't a certainty, but it is more likely than not. I like playing around with ChatGPT. For all of its faults, it does have an enormous amount of data on things like this. Here is what it says: Statistical Breakdown 1. First-Year Starting QBs Tend to Hurt Team Performance On average, teams with a brand-new starting quarterback see their winning percentage drop by about 3.4%, while also underperforming point-spread expectations (covering just 49%) The Score. 2. Adding Four or More New Offensive Starters Compounds the Issue Teams with a new QB and up to four new offensive starters have historically struggled badly: Only 20 out of 82 such teams saw improvement. The average decline was 22% in winning percentage, coupled with a 4% drop in ATS (Against The Spread). Their combined ATS was just 44.7%, significantly below average The Score. 3. Contrast: Teams with Continuity Teams with a returning starting quarterback and at least nine other offensive returning starters tend to improve by about 8% in winning percentage, with better ATS performance (~52.6%) The Score. Likewise, stable setups β returning QB, same OC, and most offensive starters β yield even stronger benefits The Score. Why the Combination of Inexperience & Disruption Is Risky Offensive line experience is a key predictor of success, particularly in pass protection: One study showed that offensive line experience explained 5β10% of the variation in yards per carry Mgoblog. Experienced, cohesive lines also significantly reduce sack rates, giving the QB more time and increasing offensive efficiency Mgoblog. In real-game examples, newly assembled lines with poor cohesion often struggle with fundamentals: South Carolinaβs line with three new starters and a center in a new position managed just 5.2 yards per play, and had under 30% rushing success β a clear sign of line dysfunction affecting the entire offense On3.

What the fuck is wrong with you, Houston? Non-CR thread
GreenspointTexas replied to crash_davis's topic in Daily Texan
Lifelong houstonian here. Its easily the worst big city in Texas. The older I get, the less and less I seem to like it. If it didnt have the diversity (its biggest strength), im not sure it would have much going for it. Weather is worst of big cities in Texas. Flooding and hurricanes. Insane mosquitos. Very little in the way of keeping up history/culture. Prices are hilariously stupid for a city with a ton of land. People are also correct that Houston has the most polluted air of any city in Texas. Objectively ugliest big city in the state. IAH is meh. Thank god for hobby. Very little in the way of greenspace. Most aggy city in Texas. The suburbs and outlying towns are absolutely godawful. There is no Waxahachie/Georgetown/Boerne/Lockhart/NB/San Marcos/Granbury/Celina type in Houston. worst of all, while dallas has sterotypes of being rich snobs, houston is full of materialistic, lets-pave-over-everything, f150 mcmansion wannabe dreaming rednecks. The nice places are nice (river oaks, the villages, west u) but if I didnt live in the Heights, there is no fucking way I would live in spring branch or sugarland, or pasadena, or humble, or cypress, or spring, etc. The lack of zoning is a massive double edged sword. rambling but fuck it, neg away -

Goddamn. Someone posts a picture of women of questionable looks and this whole website is all It would better if they were clearly attractive or ugly. Yβall might just let it slide. But because there is a by gawd debate to he had we are going to gnaw on this bone for the next three pages. -
I am not the one who said his number was completely made up. Perhaps a better claim would have been: "The number is potentially completely made up with respect to players that are not good enough to be courted by any top 5 programs even though it is actually less than the publicly known number that applies to recruits who can actually help win something meaningful." Or you could gracefully admit that the number was not completely made up.

Everyone who smelled the initial Jimbo contract shouldβve been fired, and everyone who was within a 5 mile radius of the approval of the extension shouldβve been strapped to a Space X rocket and jettisoned to mars. But itβs TAMU so they doubled down with the Elko contract. -

We tend to attract celebrity kids who think outside of the norm. Chris Simms decided on Texas over Tennessee, a top five program. There was a rumor that if Chris had stuck with Tennessee Eli wouldβve committed here. John McClain (I know total dipshit)mentioned that Cooper and Peyton wouldβve committed here if Cooper was able to continue playing

Yep. The Kennedys and Bushes dressed well, and they had nice things, and they had taste (or could afford people who did). Old Money isn't loud about it, because everyone in their circle has money, too. It's expected. So, you show it, quietly, with a nod and a wink, and maybe a little class. Everything about Donald Trump screams New Money, like he's some street kid who won the lottery and he's been trying to buy his way into the Old Money Country Club ever since. This is ironic, given how much family money he came from, but real Old Money would never surround itself with that much gold paint, unless maybe its dick didn't work.

To be clear, I never said he was dumb. He isnβt. Heβs self-made and worth more than the Campbell guy at Tech, allegedly. I donβt really see the Elko hire as significantly different than the Stoops hire other than they knew and liked Elko. Elko was less costly as well. The dumbass in all of this is the former AD and his counsel who cut the first deal with Jimbo and then whoever re-upped without buyout edits. The guy handling the mess would absolutely never agree to that kind of shit in a deal structure. -

Went there a few years back, and while the food was outstanding....we had the same experience. Seems like a swat team of waiters/waitresses were just standing behind us, ready to evict us as soon as possible. We might have spent less than an hour as well. Once the plates were cleared, a check was brought out before anyone asked us if we wanted to see a dessert menu. We paid and left. I'd happily go back if I could get assurances that we weren't going to be eating with a hand on our back shoving us to the door. -
At this rate, my guess is Trump is talking socialized Medicine by next fall. Hell, heβll probably call for repealing his own tax bill and a 45% tax rate just to gin up a fresh news cycle.
