  1. Past hour
  2. Crossed my mind but it's not a verb, afaik. And we know this classy individual would not dare to make a grammar faux pas.
  3. Last stand at the Swamp for the Gators. We’ll get their best game and crowd will be hyped. The Swamp is built deep into the ground, and it traps the noise on the field. I’ve been there when the Gators were rolling under Spurrier and it’s the only place I’ve been where the crowd noise feels like a physical force pressing in your ear drums. If Arch gets off to another slow start and the crowd gets to him, this is going to get dicey. If we can get off to a good start and grab a big lead by the half, they will quit and the place will empty out by the third quarter. I’ll call it 17-13 Texas.
  4. We are somehow only 3 weeks away from the start of the NBA season and our Rockets should be one of the better teams in the league. Obviously, Fred Van Vleet's injury sort of dampens things going in to the season, but the Rockets still have a chance to be as good as anyone in the league outside of OKC. Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith, and Tari Eason are all a year older and Thompson & Sengun look like they could be perennial All-Star's. Did I mention that Kevin Motherfucking Durant now plays for the Rockets? The regular season tips off on 10/21 @ OKC - which just so also happens to be the return of the NBA on NBC: Let's fucking go!
  5. Ian Boyd: Can Texas’ offense crack Florida’s bend-but-don’t-break defense?
  6. Saw a dipshit wearing one in Mexico at a resort a couple years ago. I just laughed at him, like a green shirt guy, over the top laugh. He was fairly confused. Was kind of hoping he would do something so I could stuff his fat ass in a locker while pretty much nobody helped.
  7. This thread is wildly unpopular, but heading to Louisville Monday - Wednesday. @Texas St. Armadillos where all did you go to eat? No distilleries for me, no time. Just looking for a place DT to get dinner.
  8. Holy shıt. I would go apeshit if my employer pulled that bullshit.
  9. palencia is so good when he throws strikes.
  10. And some American service members too. Maybe not many. But some. For absolutely no reason. None. Other than Trump needing to create a distraction. Remember how all the Trump voters said one of the great things about him was "he won't get us into any foreign wars?" And now, he's literally looking around trying to find a fight to start?
  11. Thanks, I haven't experienced the singular pleasure of throwing up in my mouth in many a year.
  12. Holy shit he literally threatens them with their job/future at the end. The optics of this meet are just so bad. Will nothing move the needle with this fucking guy. Maddening.
  13. I pretty much at this point think Tom Herman and SBB are a good comparison. and we all know how well that Maryland revenge game went
  14. joey tribbiani was abysmal.
  15. Mine renewed this month so I have another 11 months to decide. fwiw there's also the lululemon credit too that's $75 every quarter...looks like they have socks and stuff, anyone can use The uber credit is actually now 15/month (25 I think in december) PLUS the reimbursement of 200$ for uber one If you haven't used your resy or lululemon credit this month it's not too late you still can buy gift cards - buy online at ll and get the mail the card option. (Don't do the email option if you want to get reimbursed.) For resy select a restaurant here and buy a giift card online from that restaurant's toast page. But for both of these keep in mind the quarter ends tonight. https://useyourcredits.com/maps/resy/ explainer if you want it https://www.reddit.com/r/amex/s/uA0PSwXrfN
  16. Grip the shaft but tickle the balls
  17. Come on, we all know that's actually the title of your autobiography.
  18. I'm questioning whether you know the difference between "schematic advantage" and just "advantage."
  19. Not really. A good chunk of plans pass the investment and recordkeeper costs on to participants. Plans wont shut down but I could see a number of them being funded by employee deferrals only for the next few years. I was out of the industry in 2008 and overall, that debacle cleared up relatively quickly as compared to the actual economic pain that was endured. in 2020 and 2021 a lot of employers slimmed down their workforces but kept the employer contributions flowing, even if on a reduced basis. Those rebounded slightly in 2023 and 2024. The key here will be how long this shit lasts.
