Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc.)
Nice Guy Eddie replied to surlybevo's topic in Business and Markets
You have to guess that 2026 will bring on a few crypto options for a limited number of 401k employer programs. -
I might stop for some good bbq, and take it out to eat under their trees.

Scott Wilson Hospitalized in Jacksonville After Heart Attack
lemonandaturd replied to NBHorn7's topic in Football
A close friend of Scott invited me to go with them to a game in Fort Worth against TCU several years ago. We rode in his Cadillac. The only necessities were a big bucket of fried chicken and lots of whiskey. During the game, some TCU pricks had broken the horns off the hood of the car. I was the only one sober enough to drive us back to Austin. He wanted the Doug Supernaw song "Red and Rio Grande" on a loop all the way home. When we got back, Scott gave me a t-shirt that said, "I drove the caddy home." That was my first and only trip with them, but it was a blast. I hope he has a speedy recovery. -
The second they can make a soy-based self tanner spray in the same orange julius color that dotard prefers is the second this "crisis" is over. The MAGAts will be showering in that shit as their patriotic duty.

And how quickly will his pardon come?

Scott Wilson Hospitalized in Jacksonville After Heart Attack

Man I remember we roasted that hog and ate it before the game. Then someone put the head an a spike and took it into Rosenblatt. By the fourth inning the smell was getting pretty nearly. -

Similarly, I have my popcorn out waiting for Texas to beat a P4 team by week 6 😉

I made an excuse to miss my 40th this summer. I see the 3 people I care about. The rest of you people just happened to live within the same geographical boundary. That's where the relationship ends.

So by November.

As pointed out earlier, Newsom's post doesn't require adherence to any particular policies of his or any other administration.

I didn't know much of Kendrick Lamar until the halftime show and enjoyed it. The guarantee of having a negative experience is going in with a negative attitude. I assume that the anti Bad Bunny bias will get louder and louder. I have to assume Trump will butt into it soon when he needs a distraction. Hispanic events make too many MAGA think of illegal Mexicans, Spanish being spoken and the eventual move to white, non-Hispanics losing their majority status.

What new UT gear are you looking to buy this year?

Anyone pulled the trigger on any of the BCKR gear being advertised? -
Gold bug / silver bug / numismatic / metals thread
RDCanecutter replied to 52-80's topic in Business and Markets
A few years back I sat on the front stoop drankin wine, and recording the best price per year of gold and silver since 1973 when Nixon pulled out the chock blocks. I also estimated average price per year. Then I had some more wine and adjusted numbers for inflation. Then I looked at all the numbers. What I saw was that if you bought gold at the average price every year, and sold it at average a year later, you'd hardly make any money. But if you waited 5 years to sell, you'd almost always get a worthwhile profit. (Obviously in RL if you could hold on and avoid a loss you would, but I didn't give my little theoretical guy the option, he had to sell 5-year-old stuff every year. Still did ok overall.) In fact, IIRC, even having the guy buy at the highest price each year, and waiting to sell 5 years later at the average, he turned some profit. I didn't try this with 100 different stocks, so maybe they'd do better, or not. I can only drink so much wine. I have not figured up how the recent crazy run-ups add in, obviously they're good for those who bought in the past. If I eat me a sandwich and go down to the gold shop to get an ounce today, no idea if it'll be worth more in 5 years. -
With a severe drought, the Ukes need to send simple incendiary bombs on windy days into the Russian wheat fields. Burn it all, right before winter. CHIEF

Somebody needs to show that second play to Sark. It's a "pirouette pitch". Sark is gonna love that play. I frankly can't believe he didn't think of it first.
