Des Moines. But no Texas stops. Pretty intimate gathering in Palm Springs. I think that arena seats like 10K.

This is what I have been saying. These people think all this disastrous dumbass shit is great and they praise him for it. There is no catastrophe big enough that can befall the United States, there is no scandal depraved enough that could be committed by Donald Trump that will convince them otherwise. Everything he does is no big deal even if it literal child rape and trafficking. Every disaster his policies create is somebody else's fault or some act of God that nobody could have prevented despite plenty of evidence to the contrary. And more than that, they are just evil people who want to do bad things to other people. These are the kinds of people this country is full of. This is America. And more than that we have always had tons of these people. And that is the reality we are all having a hard time accepting.

Seriously. I was thinking "did a casino write that headline?"

No, I try not to post in DT. Besides the ad hominem and appeals to authority, there are (as you well know) plenty of posters that try to win arguments by crying to mods about “shit posting” when they don’t like what someone is saying. On another thread, I got a one week ban for linking a WSJ op-ed (Immamac said it was “shit posting”; I guess I should have waited a couple of days for the news story). I don’t feel like responding in kind, so I find DT interesting to read, but not good for engaging.

Good for you. Bitcoin is an apolitical investment/money. The ability to transact freely and/or hodl a currency that can't be debased by centralized entities should have bipartisan support. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/tpb-109-make-bitcoin-nonpartisan-again-with-jason-brett/id1601045370?i=1000680674033 -
Epstein files update (there are no Epstein files)

Literally everything is a political tool when your only real concern is cutting taxes for the rich. That's not real popular, so you use anything you can to get the non-rich to vote for you. It's been the Republican playbook for a long time. -

Fucking bullshit. Every Nazi collaborator needs to be in the historical record so that their complicity is remembered. The fact that they don’t want their names recorded only goes to show they know this is wrong.

Some recruits are worth shelling out cash on, but most aren't. Atkinson has a real path to starting next year with Hill departing for the NFL. -

What new UT gear are you looking to buy this year?
BurdineBandit replied to GhostOfTomJoad's topic in Football
Great description. I like the designs in general, but something about them is just a tad bit off. I have liked some of the UT gear they've come up with, but I'll likely just wind up with another nike polo this year. They fit well and look great in jeans or shorts. -
Cross posting this cleanup opportunity: Center Point cleanup details. Center point is a smaller town on the east end of Kerr county and several people have told me they are not getting as much help as other places. The volunteer process is to check in at the VFD at 8:00 am and they send teams out starting at 8:30-9:00. I plan to be there Saturday and if I can handle it on Sunday too. 548 W Kelly St, Center Point, TX They have a Facebook page where they post some updates like closing down work when the weather got bad yesterday. Check it for updates before you go. Go prepared with PPE including masks, leather gloves and bug spray. Light medical like bandages and antibiotic ointment. Food and lots of water Tools - From my experience wheel barrows, flat shovels, box knives and blades, crow bars, hammers, and screw drivers are the basics.

Yeah that is why I say the worry about expansion is misplaced. There are plenty of good players like her on the edges of the league. I'm pretty confident she will get have a stable spot in the league as the new teams ramp up.
