Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal
Superhero replied to Bozo_Casanova's topic in Cloak Room
Tire last time SWA canceled my flight, I ended up renting a car and driving from LAS to SNA. We stopped in Barstow to get gas and In-n-Out, ate in the restaurant and shared life stories. We got to SNA at 3AM and I was able to attend a client meeting at 10AM. That was a little stressful but I would gladly do that again if it was less than 6 hours and fit the story. -

Bye Week Fodder- Texas' Historic Game Recommendations

You could do a lot worse than an all day marathon of Texas/Nebraska (For the once loss, just fast forward to Bevo XIII in the Alamodome end zone) still mind blowing the 15 year run we had against them. every one of those has incredible moments seared in the memory: 12/7/96 Roll Left 10/31/98 Ricky/47 game home winning streak/standing O from Memorial Stadium 10/23/99 Mike Jones/McConaughey/bongo drums 12/4/99 Bevo XIII/cell phone flop out 11/2/02 Simms/Joel Myers/Dave Lapham 11/1/03 I actually don’t remember this one, beating Nebraska was becoming so second nature 10/21/06 Ryan Bailey/snow 10/27/07 Jamaal Charles 4th quarter 12/5/2009 1 second/Hunter Lawrence 10/16/10 Gilbert/ still the last time Nebraska was ranked top 5 -

U.S. Beef Industry in absolute crisis

Well, you are no meat pimp. -
OK Recognizing that this is definitely not the "it" I immediately assumed that Baylor football was "at" again (and, for the record, I am very glad for the women of McLennan County and the world generally that Baylor football does not appear to be "at" that particular "it" again. Or at least, that we know of at this exact moment), Mack Rhoades sounds like a dumb fucking cunt who should have far, FAR more important shit to worry about than whether a middling tight end on his likely 8th place Big XII football team is wearing a fucking gold undershirt. Get some motherfucking perspective, you self-important fuckbake of a cocksmoker It sounds to me like Baylor has exactly the kind of smooth brained, window licking AD that that stain of an "academic" institution deserves

Starving 42 million Americans is not a good look. Not to mention the 3 million government employees who may not have been on SNAP and are not receiving a paycheck going into the holidays. All while building a lavish ballroom that 99.9999% of Americans will never see. I know Trump has gotten away with a lot of heinous shit over the years, but I think so many of his supporters treated politics like a reality show with a goal of owning the libs, and now the chickens are coming home to roost for a lot of people. Trumpers likely care less about trans swimmers when they can’t afford to eat and their orange god is bailing out Argentina and starting a holy war in Nigeria. I think we’re seeing cracks in the MAGA armor. Trump is practically commanding Congress to terminate the filibuster and so far it’s crickets. MTG is very publicly on a healthcare rampage. The senate voted to block tariffs on Brazil. The winds seem to have shifted and I think everyone on the right is feeling the pressure of the extended shutdown. I’m reluctant to get too hopeful long term, but it’s safe to say the GOP is not having a good November. That’s a start.

Whoa ho. Hello! -
Crosspost from the “beef is too damn high!” thread $5.99/lb cooking for ~40 tomorrow. shittiest trim I’ve ever done because I could feel the dollars being shaved away at every slice and couldn’t bring myself to cut away any red. Even that, the 6.5 lbs of fat ($40) lopped of hurts. Definitely the most expensive tallow I’ve ever made. $170 for one 22” rack of meat got sent $100 to cover the meat cost. I thought “that’s cute” (but appreciated)
