Yes, IBRX has to do an efficacy trial for each cancer. They don't have to do a Phase 1 as it is already an approved drug and getting a label expansion for Anktiva's use is a bit lower bar than a brand new drug candidate....and the Quilt trials were a test on about every major cancer that hasn't had meaningful survival improvement in the past 20 years. Their website shows you where they are on each candidate. Anktiva's use as Bio-Shield has a much lower hurdle and FDA guidance as well, and it already has been granted EAP approval. Remember, checkpoint inhibitors hit receptors on lymphocytes (T-cells) to prevent cancer cells from evading them and are often given with chemo and or radiation. That leads to lymphopenia which leads to check point failure. Anktiva regenerates lymphocytes and thus rescues checkpoint inhibitors. Patrick Soon-Shiong suggests they don't even need the checkpoint inhibitors. So, yes, you could argue as @Blotto did that big pharma (and, Merck, in particular) could certainly want Anktiva, but Patrick and affiliates control 72% of IBRX. If he doesn't want to sell, then it ain't happening as long as he’s alive. Looking at his history, he owned 80% of the biotech that came up with Abraxane which resulted in him selling for over $4 billion many years ago. One more thing regarding the Merck-ImuunityBio connection. Some cancer patients are, currently, being treated with a combination of Keytruda (Merck) and Anktiva (ImmunityBio). This combination is being explored, particularly in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have not responded to previous checkpoint inhibitor therapies. The Lung-MAP clinical trial is investigating this combination as a potential treatment option.

I agree with every position you quote. You to work on your narrow-minded, narrow-focused sophistry. You need to do this particularly when you're going after people who are better humans than you. She's better than me, too. ETP: @Brian Fantana did it much better. Compliments.

It's like when GlaxoSmithKline makes the life-saving medication $23,999 per pill but has a coupon program you can sign up for so that it only costs $1,200 per pill.

So, this happened last night and again today. If you restart your game, it does it. At least that’s what has happened to me. Someone else try it and see.

Just started watching 24. Really digging the tension between Jack and Nina since they apparently used to be together, but now she's with Tony. I think Nina ends up saving the day, she and Jack get back together, they fight terrorists together every season and live happily ever after.

When you’re 16 and working the 5pm-2am shift you have no thoughts other than “what motherfucker just ordered 6 Mac’s at 130 am and now I gotta fuck up my grill?” I was thinking about the beer I’d be drinking as soon as the door locked. Those Mac’s probably contributed to his severely impacted colon. Those tuinals kill any motility.

Dumb. Owning a boat is wonderful. I’d give up a lot of things in my life before my boat.

"The Stranger" totally holds up as a creative master class. Stranger-52nd Street-Glass Houses is a pretty solid run of albums. I wish they'd spent more time on the music, the musicians, the songs, the studio process, etc. - and a bit less on "the romantic history of Billy Joel." I'm sure Joel is capable of being abrupt and difficult, but I got a little weary of hearing how much it hurt Liberty's feelings when he didn't use him on a project, and how much it hurt Phil Ramone when Joel wanted to use a different producer, etc, etc. It's a complicated and nuanced thing to talk about loyalty in those situations where there's a completely one-sided power dynamic. I'm sure no one would argue that those people played a huge role in shaping the music. But let's remember that for a lot of those musicians, being in Joel's band is the difference between jetting around the world surrounded by luxury and adoration vs. teaching music lessons for $50/hr and making a few bucks every weekend at a nightclub. It has to be more complicated than Joel is the greatest down-home, loyal, never-changing, stand-up guy only as long as he uses the same cast of Long Island guys... and he's a treasonous disloyal asshole when he wants to do something different or work with a different person.

Well said. It's a racket and a check th box to feel like a good parent. Even the kids and young-ens are wise to it now though.
