Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
Had Enough replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
Ewers was 97th in the country in adjusted completion percentage in 2024 in the intermediate range. Shough, Dart, Sanders and Ward were top 10. Gabriel 11th. Rourke and Howard were top 25. Milroe tied for 31st. Ewers was 16th in 2023. Ward, Dart and Beck were slightly higher. In 2022, Ewers was 108th in adjusted completion percentage. On the deep ball, he was 98th in 2022, 95th in 2023, and 47th in 2024. Throw a catchable ball is the first priority. There is nothing in the numbers to indicate he’s “very accurate” in that range. There’s certainly enough in the data to question whether he’s more accurate than those selected before him. There was one year in which it looked as though he could be something at it. The NFL has weighed in on the supporting cast to say these guys are playmakers and can get open. -
we should talk more about feeling up titties

Absolutely Nobis was incredible and probably does not stick out as much because he played in Atlanta which was a shitty expansion team. The criteria in my mind is being totally dominate in high school, college and the NFL and it has to be immediate. Jim Brown speaks for himself. He is the greatest running back in NFL history and it really is not even close. Earl dominated high school and college and then led the NFL in rushing his first three years in the league. If Fred Akers would have been the coach for Earl for three years I don’t think anyone would touch his rushing record. It would have been unreal. Remember he was a wishbone fullback his first three years until Fred turned him loose as a tailback in the I formation. The rest is history.

All things Apple, the tech not the fruit
Captainant replied to sachick's topic in Business and Markets
Realistically speaking though - what is the value that Apple is bringing to customers by forcing payments to go through their payment system instead of directly to the vendor they're dealing with? They seek rents on all digital good sold, even if they're not the ones paying for the bandwidth. An old example was how you couldn't buy a Netflix membership on your iPhone, but you could sign into an existing membership. Apple supplies ZERO utility to Netflix customers, aside from happening to be the device you're using to access a 3rd party service. In this particular lawsuit and legal action, Apple LIED ON THE WITNESS STAND IN COURT about their policies in place and the court was able to identify and record the internal policy Apple had through contemporaneous business doucmentation. From the CBS news article that I guess you didn't read: "In stark contrast to Apple's initial in-court testimony, contemporaneous business documents reveal that Apple knew exactly what it was doing and at every turn chose the most anticompetitive option," the judge wrote on Wednesday. She accused Apple's vice-president of finance Alex Roman of "outright" lying under oath. Since the injuction in 2021, only thirty four of Apple's 136,000 developers have even APPLIED to be able to process their own payments. The judge agreed that contemporaneous business documents show definitively that Apple actively worked to prevent developers from directing customers to their own websites or payment platforms. edit: if you lie to the court, you're gonna incur some adverse consequences and punitive response from the court. I don't see how they're gonna be able to make an argument and be taken seriously when they've already perjured themselves as a corporate entity -

It really is. They’re so deep. Hartenstein being pretty decent for them especially hurts given we could really use him and the 2 2nd round picks the Nuggets gave up for Javale McGee. I mean he’s 16 & 12 at the half. Arguably his best game in some time with how well Zubac played him for 7 games. Jokic, Murray and Russ really are the only 3 playing at least decent, but we still are having too many frantic turnovers and forcing it by the basket from everyone. If we shoot better from 3 in the 2nd half, we have a chance.

Feels like it’s been covered pretty well but avoid the bbq you listed, just uber to truth or Pinkertons if you don’t have a car and want great bbq. Pit room is good but Pinkertons/Truth are great, IMO. Betelgeuse Betelgeuse is nearby and although I haven’t been I hear they have good pizza.

They already have the elections rigged. Trump admitted it. It’s why they can all be so bold and go along with whatever Trump says. There is no hope at this point

Eggs. Or egg whites if you don't have calories in the budget.

I think it’s part book banning/maga hell raising but it’s also that these types don’t have answers for the real problems. People that show up to these elections understand the challenges with funding, staffing, test scores, growth/decline in student enrollment, etc. When voters are frustrated because districts can’t hire bus drivers so routes are getting cut, they don’t give a shit about some book their kid is never going to read. When art and music classes are getting cut, people don’t care about fake litter box hoaxes. When half of the teachers being hired are uncertified, people want solutions.

2024-2025 Houston Rockets thread - Prepare for Liftoff 🚀
billfromlaketravis replied to Macklemore's topic in Basketball
Again does anybody know what the Suns’ asking price was for Durant at the deadline. Zach Lowe said Miami passed because the price was too high. GSW seemed to have a trade in place, but Durant declined. If we assume the GSW trade for Butler was a similar package, the price could be: Andrew Wiggins Kyle Anderson Protected first Wiggins and Anderson couldn’t play dead for the Heat. Maybe Brooks or Green and an unprotected first gets it done for Durant to the Rockets? -
This tweet and others like it have to be financially motivated. Like.... How much does it cost to have him tweet what you want? There is zero chance he gives two shits about her otherwise.
