Bru, what if - and believe me this is a hypothetical - but what if you were offered some kind of a stock option equity sharing program. Would that do anything for you?24 points

He's the 9th-highest rated recruit we've ever landed, and practice reports have been glowing about his talent. I think a hearty "let's get you back to Texas" effort is rather warranted.11 points

It’s small town East Texas. Winning that foosball is more important than morals, ethics, or the safety of their girls. If you polled that town I’d bet 95%+ would say the scandal was just “political correctness run amok.” If you polled them separately I’d bet they’d also respond that girls have a duty to dress and act appropriately to avoid being raped. He’ll show up to the local baptist church on his first day and do his “I love Jesus” act and the town will rejoice. When he wins his first championship they’ll make him fucking mayor. Backwards ass small town southern ‘murica.9 points

I don't understand why we can't get him for away games and OU. SC can have him the rest of the year. We can alternate holidays.8 points

I had a guy come up to me. Big guy. Strong. Tattoos all up and down his arm and a thick mustache. He was crying saying he loved the idea of more biplanes. Lots of really tough guys are saying this.7 points

Folks, planes used to have TWO sets of wings!? We got rid of the extra wings! How dumb are we? We gotta make more biplanes, folks, backup wings in case the first set get shot up with bullets!7 points

figure out who heads the company that makes the steam system, then determine how trump will benefit financially from the order, then it will make more sense.7 points

I travel a lot for business and anytime people become aware that I'm from Texas, I am treated with scorn and derision at a minimum. Most of the time it ends up in a fist fight where I generally kick ass unless I am too outnumbered. This happens even when I travel around Texas, with the exception of College Station where I am treated like a king by the most hospitable and kind people I have ever met.7 points

It wasn't a nuclear blast. It was a steam explosion. So what happened was they ran high power ops prior to the testing. High Powe ops causes xenon to show up and lower reactor power. Power went down to the "intermediate range.". They didn't understand the xenon transient so they shut off a pump. When they shut off that pump, they went prompt critical. Basically a huge ass uncontrolled power surge. That caused all that water to instantly vaporize into steam. Expansion ratio is something like 1600 to 1. So it cause a huge pressure transient which was the explosion. Steam explosion. I was trying to explain this to my buddies and the best demonstration I could think of is to get a hard boiled egg unpeeled and microwave it for 15 seconds. Get a plastic fork and poke it. That steam release will be so strong it will shear the fork in half and if you're really brave get a bowl of water. An egg and put it in the microwave. And hit the start button. That steam explosion after 30 seconds will be so powerful it will blow the door off your microwave. That's chernobyl with an egg7 points

Honestly, I'm just so proud to have been a part of one of the biggest pet's heads falling off days I've ever seen on this board6 points

This video is an hour long, but there were several parts that stood out to me. First, watch the beginning where the doctor who treated Eller speaks. She seems to be in disbelief of Eller’s condition when she was brought in to the hospital. No signs of dehydration, no signs of electrolyte imbalance that you would normally see. Even though, as is mentioned later in the video, there were days where she went without water because the storms caused the river water to be muddy and she was afraid to drink it. Javier shows up at about minute 42. And you can tell that he’s already putting together a business plan for a search and rescue company that will incorporate the different technologies and methods they supposedly used to find her, including software that was created by Eller’s father. Eller’s friend Sarah Haynes also indicates that this isn’t the last we’ve heard from Eller. And she or the mom also mentions that Eller’s husband “just knew” that she was northeast so they kept looking in that direction. Count me as a skeptic.6 points

Pick any Dem candidate right now. Then understand that Fox News will make sure to have 23.9 hours a day of commentary on how that candidate is a socialist marxist communist secret muslim sympathizer race-baiter babykiller gungrabbber who is coming to your house RIGHT NOW with MS-13 to let them rape your wife/daughter/dog. They will turn out. Trump will win again. Because the brutal truth about our country is that we are a bunch of fucking racist morons. It's who we are. It's our brand. Time to accept that.5 points

surly: Pete Buttigieg being a veteran might impact the military vote. b_t: HAHAHA no way that matters. also b_t: Here's a Biden speech from 1972 where the first letters of every 6th word almost spell out "YAY HITLER." YOU EXPECT THIS GUY TO WIN!?!?5 points

False. There's political fallout for every possible mis-step a Dem makes. Hell, even if it's not a mistake (TAN SUIT! DIJON MUSTARD!) There's zero fallout for any number of sins a GOP candidate commits. Trump could shoot a man in the face in the middle of 5th avenue -- zero fallout, hell, he probably goes UP in approval. A Dem could walk by the scene of the crime, see the spent shell casing on the ground, fail to pick it up, and be branded a CRAVEN LITTERBUG.5 points

it took me a while to realize this, but there no longer is a such thing as "political fallout". most of the registered voters know exactly who they're voting for already (not a specific dem, but whomever emerges). the country is so divided and everyone is so partisan, that it doesn't matter what shit he spews, or what joe biden voted on, or if bernie is a socialist. trump went on twitter yesterday to remind black voters about biden's crime bill. does anyone think this strategy will work for him? gtfo. nobody fucking cares anymore what happens. trump has lowered the bar for politics in this country. possibly in the world.5 points

Unfortunately, not a keeper... 28” minimum in MA. That one was 22, caught them up to 26. When the herring head back to sea in a week or two, the bigger fish should show. Still this was the second best fishing trip of the weekend. Best trip was a hike to an old mill pond in the middle of a forest. My daughter baited, cast, hooked, landed, and released a bunch of sunfish on her own. Son still prefers to just reel in the fish. Also saw lady slipper orchids on the hike. These would make Georgia O’Keefe blush. Wild blueberries are about a month or two away. Pretty amazing day.5 points

Declassify and reveal sourcing agents and field tactics for the entire federal intelligence apparatus so I can use it against MY political opponents. Conceal MY tax history under the guise of Executive Privilege and National Security. The gymnastics required to support this bloated slob on his singularly idiotic endeavors takes the perfect combination of contortion and gullibility. And over 90% of the currently elected GOP is square with all of that. That's hilarious. Truly amusing. They're traitorous to their own instinct and ideology. It's funny because it took the most mentally diseased halfwit bereft of any historical knowledge to expose them. A spray tanned doofus with a hair weave is the individual they chose to follow out of cowardice in order to just boldly admit that they never really stood for any of the core values that once defined their entire party. Smart and dignified conservatives like George Will can just stand and watch, knowing the tidal mass of mongoloids are too many and too stupid to stop it. It's an avalanche in slow motion and the funniest era in American history.5 points
