This is for Lane Kiffin. The ultimate hoe.

And people who know the lyrics know where this shit  came from about not being able to turn a hoe into a housewife cuz they don’t act right. Hoe activities man.

If the committee booted FSU from the playoffs two years ago for losing their QB, then they have to also boot Ole Miss for losing their HC and offensive staff if they want to maintain any kind of credibility.

Credibility??

LSU's permanent rivals are aggy, Ole Miss, and Ark.  much better than getting Georgia every year.

Did Florida basically just say they were out on the bidding war?

Sounds like Kiffin handled this poorly but I still don't understand why Ole Miss put an ultimatum on him in the first place when they were heading for the playoffs.

Ole Miss and their alumni think much more highly of themselves than they should. They aren’t in the same league as LSU, not to mention the blue bloods of the conference, yet they think they are.

Looks like we get Lane vs Sark next year.

Okay, I know I've been a little preachy about bad behavior by coaches.

However, upon further reflection, trolling SoCo or Rainey with Coach Cajun, Lane and Sark would um... probably not suck. I might even get a chance to see @Nicole44 in her moonlighting gig. I mean... damn it... despite my moral dilemmas, I am fucking in.

There are 5 teams that have never played in an SEC championship game, a game going into its 34th edition.  Two of those teams are perennial conference cellar dwellers Kentucky and Vanderbilt.  One is 2nd-year member OU.  The other two are 14th-year member aggy and Ole Miss, who have been around for all 34 of them.

Imagine having nothing better to do than hang around a rural airport waiting for Kiffin to leave so you can shout insults at him.

It's a Sunday in Oxford, the cocaine has run out and it's too cold to golf. You can't spend all day at church!

Ole Miss, KY, Vandy (and Miss St and SC and Mizzou and Arky) have always sucked, limited to a period of SWC glory for Arky. Those 7 schools are perennial bottom feeders and absent any abnormalities, always will be. Kiffin knows this and made the right move.

I would throw Auburn in with the other 7. Half of the time, I would lump Florida and A&M in there with them.

Ole Miss hasn't always sucked. It just so happens that they started not being competitive roughly around the same time as integration.

The Ole Miss fans are acting as if Pete Golding is a slam dunk hire. A mediocre defensive coach taking over an offensive-oriented team doesn’t sound like much of a win to me.

How long before they're rebranded Lane Kiffin - LSU Football?

Wait... are they giving Kiffin credit for all of those guys Saban and Carrol put into the NFL?

Good lord there’s no reason for people to be so goddamn dramatic. Kiffin isn’t a monster for taking what historically is a better job, nor for asking to stay on for the playoff run. Ole Miss isn’t evil for denying the request (I disagree with the decision but I understand it). Ultimately I think Ole Miss administration and fans have an overinflated view of itself and the status of its HC job.

LSU will regret aggy as their fixed rival this us a chance for aggy to show LSU and the rest of the SEC about history and tradition and loyalty and building a team and coaching staff around that vs. Just trying to buy a team and a coach with money 💰

Some of these takes are quite entertaining. We’re talking about Ole Miss football. 4 out of the last 5 seasons have been their best ever. They got what they wanted out of Kiffin and him leaving was always just a matter of opportunity and money. LSU is a much better opportunity than Ole Miss, so here we go. It happens every year, maybe just not with a playoff team that best case scenario could win one game. We’re not talking about a blue blood job he’s walking away from. Saying all of that, he was king of Oxford (not saying a whole lot just for the record) so he may end up regretting this one. ESPN should run his 30 for 30 on how great it is at Ole Miss on a loop all afternoon.

I just don't think that LSU is that much better of a gig these days than Ole Miss. Lane can do whatever he wants, but his track record speaks for itself. It's fine if you don't want to think him a villain, but he is, in broad terms pretty scummy.

Based on known facts. I agree and there is zero factual evidence supporting that thought that Ole Miss will perform worse without Lane. Lots of reasonable speculation, but zero facts.

I buy that, but I was presuming a significant exodus of the staff also.
