Surly #Stonks

Noticed a nice solid day from the markets when I’m catching up on news, log in and see my portfolio took another nice 5% shit. It’s a race to the bottom. Luckily I cashed out a chunk of UUUU when it hit double digits, flip side is I was smart enough to buy more shares of AMY and IBRX with a portion of those funds

RCA Commercial Electronics.  From what I can tell mainly commercial TVs and LED Lighting.  And probably more importantly a 70k sq ft manufacturing facility.

Can find any recent revenue numbers, but ones from a few years ago were pretty healthy due to a large UPS lighting contract.  Saw reference to that one contract being worth $50M.

I'm not sure how this fits the rest of their portfolio, other than simply adding revenue and hopefully profit.

And that sweetass RCA dome 🤞🏼

It was completed at a cost of $77.5 million, as part of the Indiana Convention Center, with the costs split between private and public money. The largest crowd to attend an event at the Dome was 62,167 for WrestleMania VIII in 1992. It was demolished on December 20, 2008, as part of a project to expand the attached convention center.

Speaking of demolished.....am I the only chump still holding onto PUGE? I did get on free shares shortly after buying in, but that stock has been dog shit for some time now and has cratered about 40% in the last few days. Its below my original buyin price now. Not considering cost averaging down, but I am considering salvaging the few hundred bucks I have left. Anybody following this POS enough to verify whether there's any hope for a spike in the future, or did I fail to get out before the dump?

I think I'm going to harvest my ~75% loss on my RXMD shares before the end of the year.  Mega oof.

Thinking about doing this too.

For those who are more experienced than me, how difficult is it to write off the losses when you file taxes? Will TurboTax pull the info and do it for me or do I need to know what I’m doing? This will be the first year that I have any short term gains/losses realized

TurboTax can import and do all the heavy lifting for you

Took my lumps on RXMD and my remaining HMBL shares today.  Mega-f'n-OOF.  I sold ~8,000 shares of HMBL around $4.15 or so when it ran and kept ~4,300 shares to sell when I hit long term gainz.  Never made it...

RXMD was one of the worst L's I've ever taken on a stonk.  I kept buying the dip like f'n goofy and ended up with 110,000 shares.

Stonk life as portrayed on the internet:

driving Lambo's, private jets, eating trendies, hot stripper girlfriends

Stonk life, as it really happens

driving a 2006 Chevy Aztek, taking the Mega bus, eating Ramen, watching porn on your phone

None of that sounds that bad…. I’m still waiting to buy my lambo though.

Ooh ooh ooh please chart AMYZF.

In the chop on a downward trend. Would consider a long around .33 but needs to return to the mean before any breakout can occur. If it bounces at that .33 area could get really good returns but isn't a buy right now.

That sucks. I rode HMBL all the way up and now all the way down and am just at even. Probably will just hold but I'm definitely disappointed that I didn't take at least some profit while it was flying high.

I'm in  RXMD at .074 so down significantly. I suppose I could sell but this thing has to gain a little life at some point correct? I sold a couple winners earlier in the year but now all i'm left with is a bunch of depressing bags that match my Tech stonk bags.

With the announcement that they halted their share sale, I doubled down at ~ $6 now that the stock was 50% below my cost. Considering a small wager on a flyer OTM 1/23 call options as well. Hope '22 goes better than this year.

If you’re an IBRX shareholder, this article is a must read.  IBRX screwed up by not raising cash while the sp was in the 30’s or 40’s…..and I screwed up by not selling when the sp was that high and not telling everyone on the board to sell.  That’s been keeping a lid on the price., but ultimately, it will be the clinical results that matter.  If their trial results continue to be good, the market will reward them.  Like the author of this article, I believe 2022 will be a great year for IBRX, the wait will be worth it, and I continue to hold 27,800 shares @ $9.77.

around $6 looks to be a decent buy point but a gamble, has been rejected by the mean a couple of times. will most likely be a while before there is a trend change.

Looks to me like AMYZF may have made a low at the beginning of December.  Had a sharp bounce followed by a low volume retracement that looks like tax selling.  That should end Friday.  If the company does what they claim to be able to do, I don’t think anyone will complain buying American Manganese anywhere under $1 or 2.

Looks like a name change is coming for AMYZF to emphasize the Recyc Li-Co Process and Larry expects the demonstration plant to be up in Feb, which will allow them to bring in their NDA partners to see the process. Zarko mentioned in a recent video that they are currently in advanced discussions with companies in the battery and EV supply chain, and he said the demonstration plant will allow them to validate their process to these people.

Here’s a beginning of the year update for UUUU, AMYZF, and IBRX.

UUUU - Is going to be a big player in rare earths, especially if they start building a refining facility on their US mill site. As a rare earth play and with rising uranium prices, this stock should go a lot higher. It just takes time to digest moves.  Holding 25,000 shrs @ $5.28

AMYZF - Their demo plant should be operational by February. This not only demos the process, but also produces revenue. They continue to get more patents issued. If the world doesn’t abandon EV‘s, the stock will move higher. Ultimately, I believe they’ll sell the company for a primo price and hoping that happens this year..  Holding 150,000 shrs @ .85

IBRX - See post #7593 in this topic.  Holding 27,800 shrs @ 9.77

Each of these companies is in position to have a stellar year and I expect to make a shit ton of money.  Then, we’ll have a private party at a bar or party room in Austin and drinks are on me.  Slainte!
