Literally the only thing on campus worth a shit ahah

Tbh, Wawa is the superior roadside store experience, so as soon as Temple gets an on-campus location they're back to second place.

Happily drive past that mega-store to stop at Hruska’s for a bacon jalapeno cheeseburger and some beef jerky every damn time!

And specialized training for their future workplace ….

UTSA? Someone on here said they were a senior laden team. Does Aggie not remember the dog fight against Bowling Green last year? And handle two SECSECSEC teams with ease? The Aggies will learn what a grind playing week in and week out in the SEC is like. It's a line of scrimmage league. There are no off weeks in the SEC where iron is always sharpening iron and the stadiums are cathedrals. I feel sorry for A&M because they don't know what they're in for.

...profound Aggie football analysis presages the return of college football. You can rely on the above being said multiple times every week. It satisfies the simple mind to repeat the obvious.

I don't understand the impulse to turn Buccee's into a cultural football or to cede it to the Aggies. Everyone likes clean bathrooms. Everyone likes brisket sandwiches.

And I know who owns Buccee's but I don't think that's dispositive. I'm not going to stop listening to REK or Lyle Lovett either.

Hey man, I like Blue Bell Peaches and Cream ice cream. Buccee's is just always so loud and crowded I feel like I'm in a zoo and I'm one of the animals. It's got the Yogi Berra "it's too popular" issue.

So the guy thinks that if the defense does so well that they hold ND to TEN points, that the aggy offense will only be able to conjure up 20 of their own?

I don’t usually stop at Buccee’s because it is a gas station equivalent of a tourist trap. It’s fucking ridiculous.  The founder has a giant house on Lake Travis that is impressive. I believe his son or some relative hid a camera there and was filming women changing in and out of bathing suits, if memory serves.

I don’t listen to Lyle Lovett because he sucks. Good on him for the whole Julia Roberts thing though.

I don’t buy Blue Bell because they killed people and then said they’d fixed it and killed more people. That’s some aggie shit there. I don’t know if Chipotle has a connection to aggies, but I avoid them for the same reason. That place killed people.

I said REK made some racist stuff, incorrectly.

The posts a few pages back where they're talking about how the defense will improve are gold. They hand wave the loss of their entire defensive line, including three guys taken in the first two rounds of the draft, because Elko is calling the defense! As head coach, he obviously wasn't allowed much input last year leading to mediocre results. Sure, they only return one all conference player, but Taurean York is basically Ray Lewis and don't forget about Scooby. The defense becoming elite through use of Elko's brain is obviously important because this is probably the #1 offense in the country with Lamar Jackson at QB and Ashton Justin-Jefferson at WR. Truly the only thing that can stop the Ags this year is the refs and the vast and ongoing conspiracy against them and in favor of sippy.

I don’t listen to Robert Earl Keen because of the racist shit he actually recorded and sold. Some aggie buddies put it on during a night of poker and I couldn’t believe my fucking ears. Couldn’t believe it existed. Made the idiot turn that shit off and they all acted shocked. Fuck that guy. I don’t normally protest art because the creator is a shithead. I make an exception for that fucking guy.

I have NEVER heard of this.  Are you sure they didn't put on Johnny Rebel or David Allan Coe?

Ditto. DAC has some disgustingly racist songs on his banned albums and I remember kids playing those in high school. Never heard anything like that from Robert Earl Keen. Anything's possible, I guess, but it would be a shocking disappointment.

I'll stop at Buccee's because it's a novelty for me, being in CA.  I was in TX a few weeks back and we stopped there to take a leak and grab a cold drink.   I also hit a couple in FL when I was back there.

I recently was headed out the 10 out Palm Springs way, and there's a billboard with just the logo, and 1366 mi (or something similar).

You're right. My bad on that one. I'll no longer avoid REK but I don't even know when and where I'll be when I hear him, most likely. The guy going on the blacklist is David Allen Coe. I'll delete my false info on REK for accuracy and SEO related purposes.

Yeah don’t recall anything racist from REk.  Coe is terrible.

Armybrat having store brand homemade vanilla at the ready could not be more on point.  Straight down the checklist.

We are having a family birthday (3 birthdays in fact) celebration dinner at a nearby restaurant on Sunday, and we just picked that container up to go with the cake desserts we will serve here at home afterwards.
The kids & grandkids will take the leftover cake home, but I have dibs on the Creamy Creation.

No aggie ice cream allowed in this house.

Pretty much every flavor they do is solid. I feel almost the same way about HEB's ice cream. Using real cane sugar instead of corn syrup makes all the difference. The only Blue Bell flavors I really like are their chocolate peanut butter cookie dough and their peppermint bark around the holidays. I'm sure HEB would make a superior product if they did those flavors
