Yep their new gripe is that we’re piping in artificial noise. Their evidence was pictures of ABC boom mics in the crowd. I’m not Steven Spielberg, but the last time I checked book mics by their very definition are used to capture sound.

These are truly some of the dumbest mouthfuckers on the planet.

Dude, are you serious here? Texas absolutely amplifies the noise and music. I can take a picture of it from the SEZ next year and post it here, if you’d like. I didn’t realize this was a question (or a concern).

I don’t doubt it, but taking a picture of a boom mic as their smoking gun is uniquely stupid even for aggy.

I just don’t understand the dumpy stadium comments. What is the expectation and how is it lacking relative to other stadia?   It’s a large stadium- mostly concrete and built to get 100k in and out.

I think they are saying “dumpy” in that our stadium doesn’t have the plethora of legitimate “championships” that their storied temple to excellence has

Odd statements from a fanbase that required a complete tear down to get rid of a massive bat colony, and the rebuild still has a staircase to nowhere and looks like a massive Kroger Signature.

Microphones, speakers...whatever it takes.

On their stadium comments. I was at DKR about 10 years ago (before the new Longhorn entrance) and every game from '91-97. I haven't been to as many of the stadiums as many of you.  I went to aggy during that time - even that freezing game.

My impression on DKR was - holy shit, this place is like the Galleria now. Colored and textured concrete with really classy stuff. Has this not been kept up?

lol the stadium/crowd smack talk is so sad. Outside of the first 5-10 minutes and some splash plays last year Kyle was a fucking graveyard.

Kyle can get loud but there’s nothing intimidating about a bunch of dorks making coordinated noise.

My only beef with DKR music is that it doesn’t leave much room for Texas Fight and such and there wasn’t really space to get a Pooor Aggggies started

DKR is widely variable based on which section you are sitting in. Some parts feel fairly modern other parts feel ancient.

Holy shit, the absolute fiction in those threads. They really are a cult- can’t even accurately perceive reality.

They are saying some of the same things that have been complained about here for years. Loud music, the band can't be heard and some dumb ass talking on the jumbotron. The thing is that it is only OK when Longhorn nation is critical. So lets laugh at them trying to find a moral victory with their atmosphere since we think of it the same way the ESPN guys think of it.

I’m talking about the “threw trash at babies” type comments. I didn’t see a single A&M fan get hassled in any way shape or form. The “worst” that happened was the standard chants and shit. They are giant crybabies who have to pretend we’re monsters so they can stoke their moral outrage and sense of superiority.

I didn’t mind the mariachi band but the variety show thing does get tired.

Because ours is a real memorial stadium, for the flagship university they so want to pretend they are.  Heck their entire existence is that they wish they were Texas, but they know they are not even Texas State.  They are just aggy.  ugly old aggy with nothing but pretend military and pretend success.  They are the stolen valor of universities (and academic/athletic success).

Any articles/posts from Looch?

He usually posts a podcast on Sunday night, but we’ll see. He’s used a Rolodex of excuses after losses to explain why he didn’t tape on Sunday.

At a minimum, he’ll roll into TexAgs Studios at about noon Monday to record TexAgs Live. But then again we’ll see. Nuno has teased Looch appearances for hours before he finally shows up for the final 30 minutes of the show.

They're just pathological liars that have to be "THE BEST!!!!" and anything remotely UT is "trashy, they spit on kids and punch pregnant women" type shit, rather than just saying they hate the stadium because it's University of Texas. Nope, they have to lie, embellish everything to the extreme, and lift their self-worth by telling the world how awful we are.

the dkr memorial house has undergone 14 renovations in the last 100 years and yet retains a degree of symmetrical fenestration which pleases the eye

there are a few places where the transition from the 1926 concrete to newer areas is obvious because of the 18"+ stairs

and yes the west side upper deck concourse is a noted cluster

but the place doesn't look like donkey kong

I gave it to one aggy who was talking shit the whole game and then tried to slink away in a cowardly fashion in the 4th. His exit was not a pleasant one.

I also heckled out my truck window at sad aggys shuffling down Guadalupe.

I am 54.

lol @ the butthurt ag mega pissed that the gameday experience has improved by magnitudes. Imagine the delusion it requires to believe otherwise.

"Guys I'm tellin ya, it was much better in 2010 when we beat a 5-7 Texas team. Here's five paragraphs of me lying to myself. Whoop!"

And I thought their fans may have been even trashier than they were in the 90s. They’re complete assholes always looking for a fight. Some of them came into the stadium talking shit and they didn’t like it when we talked back to them when they left early. Fuck the aggies.

We do. But the yelling is the fans. And A&M does the same shit with their noise between plays.

I’m guessing most of the comments about “dumpy” are sour grapes, along with the legitimate gripe about how crowded the west upper deck concourse gets before the games. There’s nowhere to expand up there.

In the WUD, there were four aggie fans standing right about one of the tunnels entering the section. They stopped there singing the national anthem and stayed through our whole first possession.  It’s already crowded with people entering on both sides of the tunnel, and these fucktards stood there, forcing a thousand people to have to squeeze around them to get up the stairs.

A guy and his son were among those morons, and it wouldn’t shock me if they got shoved into the railing since they were blocking everyone from getting up the stairs, but I think the son was more like 10 years old. Regardless, they deserved to get jammed into the railing for being complete fucktards.

I figured there was some reason he went to school there.

Because Mack thought he was a tweener and wouldn’t offer.  That was when Mack refused to recruit QB’s.  He really lost the plot…
