Wrong. Nice try. And if you are comparing a coach who just has the #1 recruiting class and went to back to back playoffs to Strong you are legitimate retarded.  Carry on. Some of you are ridiculous. FFS.

Yall definitely deserve Strong as your coach. Yall better hope if Sark does leave we do not F.... up the hire.

Yall act like he is having a Clemson type year. He messed up this year. He deserves a Mulligan.  Our fans are ridiculous

You're a charlie fanboy and you're calling me retarded?

For the record I don’t want an apology. I don’t need one. People should feel how they want to feel. I wish I didn’t know shit is all. If shit goes down it will be a fucking mess if it’s not done delicately. And I wish none of this shit were real.. period.

Yeah, what I don't think people get about me is IF Sark came back replaced all the baggage, handed off OC to a top (THE BEST) options there and brought in tops as a GM, position coaches etc, altered all his issues and started dominating, I'd gobble up crow with a side of humble pie.

I don't think Sark would and that's the very reason I don't think he'll be back.

Wrong again dipshit. I was one of the first to call for firing. FFS. I told people for over a year this was not the University of Charlie Strong.

I disagree that it's only this year. The penalty situation wasn't ideal last year, either. The red zone issues, the headscratcher playcalls, none of that is unique to this season.

Who do we hire?

Kiffin? Loses to Kirby. Making the playoffs for the first time ever this year.

Freeman? Lost to aggy at home and previous years Noth Illinois and Marshall.

There is zero perfect coach.

Just stop man, most fans would be content with adjustments to the staff, especially Flood/OL.

And we keep getting outcoached so Sark needs a partner OC to help with play calling and free up some of his brain power for overall game management.

These things are obvious and ignoring them is just as “retarded” as leaving him alone to do his thing.

Freeman?

Got further in CFP, put up a better fight against Ohio State. Outsmarts Kirby. He's not available though.

I agree it's not a good time to cut Sark loose, but I disagree that the problems are limited to 2025.

How bad would a guy have to fuck up for you to consider it a firing offense?

When we hired Sark, we knew he'd had some Sark After Dark moments in the past, things we'd hoped wouldn't come roaring back at him. We hired him with his promises and our hopes that those wouldn't happen again.

Let me ask you this. What if what happened wasn't just as bad as those things, but worse?

Sarkisian needs to make hard and difficult decisions this offseason.

1. Fire his remaining original offensive assistants Flood, Banks, and Milwee provide little to support a championship level of play.

2. Find out if his current defensive staff is able to build 3 levels that can be play consistently on the same page.

3. Throw his gold digging wife out the house and concentrate on Texas football

Failure to do all 3 and his going to get fired unless he finds a soft landing somewhere else.

Then we might as well fire him two weeks from now.

Don't go full Baylor.  Don't beat up women.   That's my line.

These people have no idea that a giant shit cloud is coming…

I mind that time I's about halfway between Andrews and Seminole, just boppin' along, minding my own business. Sky turned red, sounded like half a siren, wall of red dirt slammed into me like a train. Got spun around, off the highway in decent shape, shut her down and commenced to waiting. Probably fifteen minutes of sand-blasting, scoured the shit oughta paint on the right side of the truck. Got down to just blowin' dirt, got back on the road.

I was thinking whatever is going on, home and office, with the Sarkisians, is somewhere in there.

I dont want any AD or president or board of trustees or BMDs telling any coach who should be on staff or shouldn't be on staff. Ever. That isn't their fucking role. If they think the head coach of the football team has the wrong people under him,  then you fire him. You don't tell him to change or else. That's kindrrgarten shit. You hired a ceo of an organization. If he doesn't have the  people under him that you feel can lead him to success, and he hasnt shown otherwise, them he's gone. Simple as that.

I mean, is that it? That's all you can think of?

I'm not saying Sark rapes puppies or anything (and I'm not HEARING that he does, either) but I think there's a pretty broad spectrum of off-field shit that would, you know, be well within the bounds of "Yeah, he can't stay, even if he wins out."

Put in the back of your mind any notion that Sark has his act together, and there could be a lot of bullshit going on. I'm not hearing that he's shown up to practices drunk, either, but that was the final bell for his job at USC, and ought to be here, too.

I didn’t bother to click it, did you? I made the choice not to.

It was described on this thread in Lat22's post.  If you read the post, then you became aware of what she said.  That's what I did.  That's what a lot of people on this thread did and we didn't know what it said until after we read the post, here, on Surly.

Did you choose not to read the post because you had the benefit of hindsight given commentary here?   Or was it just that you had some kind of premonition to skip over it while in perusal mode?

What a weird situation to lose your cool, chewing out the TV guy just trying to set the stage. Over the top.
Unless Sark didn't appreciate his man-boobs being fondled.

Maybe he thought that guy wanted him to sit in a chair in the corner.

I am fully aware that Sark has ventured out since he has been here.

This is hilarious. Sark thought he could ride Arch and that shitty Cole Hutson laden OL to a NC, then ride off into the NFL. Just like Mack thinking Gilbert would lead us to a NC and he'd pass the baton to Muschamp

If we hire Dan Lanning we would have achieved the impossible- actually finding a coaching staff capable of more hard drugs than the current one.
