The journalistic community? That’s not where information is going to come from. It’s going to come from coaches, players, agents and administrators. And Howard I am sure knows a lot of people in that world. But to be clear I am not suggesting that for sure he is right here but he damn sure knows a lot of people who could have heard something.

You have a weird need to make up some idea that people worship Sark. I don't think anyone does outside of Wulaw Horn.

I think it’s like a Derka thing, anybody who responds with a slightly contrasting point of view in their mind turns into an angry mob of people who are defending Quinn or sark. I’m just confused why we want to drag the head coach through the mud while he’s still employed with the university that everybody here loves. If it’s his own doing that’s fine but is it necessary to make it a spectacle before it’s an actual spectacle? I’m probably just yelling at clouds.

I think what the nay sayers neglect to do when pooping on things like Desmond's IG post is why would he do that. What is his motive?

He’s a fucking moron and there’s no restraint from his corporate overlords on any stupid shit he has to say.

But look, we’re talking about him. He’s an idiot with nothing relevant or meaningful to say. But we’re talking about the stupid shit he says.

Gosh, what could possibly motivate him?

Information and certainly misinformation flow faster and more frequently than ever in college football. A lot of it is stuff we have been seeing for a while like social media and the 24 hour news cycle, but one of the major changes recently is NIL has both brought in more agents to cfb and removed many of the gatekeeping duties of an athletic department. I know at least three of our donors text and hold calls directly with agents without CDC knowing a thing about it, and I'm sure theres many more I don't know. That was going on before NIL, but not nearly to the same extent. The negotiating moves lightining quick, especially in these portal situations, and the middle men have all but been removed.

To be clear, I've seen this exact scenario play out:

- Sark or another staffer contacts a donor and says hey we believe X player has indicated he would transfer here for the right price, we really need him for (insert reason)

- Donor calls that players agent to get a ballpark and see if he and others are interested in paying that amount

- Donor either foots the bill himself or quickly gathers a bid amount from his donor buddies

- Donor enters negotiations with the agent and sends in a bid

- Agent lets the donor know if they won or lost, and if won the paperwork gets drawn up

My point in posting this is it should illustrate how often agents are on the phone with people not even officially affiliated with the universities. TONS of information gets distributed out this way, and yea a lot of it is just smokescreens or bs or planted rumors. It wouldn't be a stretch at all for a guy like Desmond Howard to think he has gotten ahold of some pretty juicy and legitimate information, because he could've talked to a million different people who heard the Sark NFL stuff second hand and tells him it came from an agent.

In summary, we extended Sark until 2031 back 9 months ago.

Now, 9 months later we have enough personal shit that has accumulated that we are allowing him to exit via the NFL so we don’t fire him for cause.

Got it, thanks.

If it’s a spectacle sark made it that way. We didn’t sign a contract to coach for Texas nor to keep his dirty laundry from being aired. It’s on him. Maybe letting the season play out wasn’t the best strategy? I cannot answer that.

In my view Desmond is speaking to the folks that believe it’s a down year, new OLine, we can fix in portal next year, nothing is fucked, everyone is entitled to a bad season, arch is to blame…yall are the ones constantly debating mine and others credibility on Sark bc you think it’s just a HC fix or whatever the fuck and ain’t nothing happening outside of it and if stuff outside of the team is happening it shouldn’t matter….Desmond is talking to yall folks not to be surprised if you are 💯 fucking wrong in your assessment and sark is gone. CDC is an idiot.

Seriously, though, if Sark missed something "big" like that, it was not unexplained to the AD and CDC under any circumstances, but especially with a coach that has a history of substance abuse.

It may have been kept on the QT, down low, and very hush-hush because it was very personal.  As in, man, I need to take some personal time to deal with Loreal or whatever, or my health.

He said mutually split ways, you’re saying sark is committing heinous horrible shit and will embarrass the university on the way out. Which one are we suppose to believe in this, completely fabricated currently, scenario? The “y’all” and “folks” in your long winded diatribe is probably like 2 people lol. Weed might be affecting your cognitive ability a little bit. Who has defended sark at every turn???

Assuming all of this gets reconciled and swept under the rug in the event we close the season with a little momentum at 9-3.

At 8-4 and a blowout loss to A&M with Reed throwing for 500 yards and things get dicey.

At 7-5 and a loss to Arkansas and the dirty laundry (rehab, drunk on job, wife drama, etc) gets aired and we see a "mutual parting of the ways".

It’s possible that Sark still wants to coach moving forward. It’s in his best interests to not be fired for cause again like he was when he showed up drunk at USC. Another firing for similar or off field stuff such has been described here leads that he’d be damaged good and likely not receive a 3rd chance at redemption

I don’t know who all the information holders are, or I would include them as well. For those of us who don’t know shit about fuck, can you answer these simple questions:

1) Do you believe Sark will be fired after this season?

2) Do you believe Sark will be fired for cause after this season?

3) Do you have any knowledge that our players know the specifics of the rumors surrounding Sark?

4) Has anyone yet defended their assertions with promises of fisting themselves if they are proven wrong?

5) If not, why?

I don’t have a pulse on the powers that be like some here do, some have been silent since Georgia whipped our ass.

If it’s all true no way our team doesn’t know. And I cannot answer if it has affected them. We have sources on our board who have more knowledge of practice and shit like that. I do not.

if it’s true should he be fired, yes, will they fire him? I don’t know. I think he should be fired based on what I heard in the last 24 hours but if the reasons for that get out it will make us look like shit. And embarrass people who didn’t ask to be a part of this shit. Maybe taking a “wait and see” approach wasn’t the best strategy if that’s what has been done? The chickens always come home to roost.

Talent is NOT a cure all. Regardless of how rare that may be. I don’t know what will happen. I don’t know if Sark was trying to jettison away from it before the season even started or in September. I don’t know. I am not gonna pretend to know who is going to make any decisions about anything. If it’s all true I would have had a come to Jesus meeting and maybe given him some time off to FIX some of it…but the other shit won’t be fixed merely from “time off” and so I’d fire him based on what I know. Yes.
