Kind of starting to think with all these "top" teams recent struggles starting to really see impact of those teams having more of their squads involved in the World Cup.

All these players in the World Cup on top of a ridiculously compressed schedule, teams are going to drag.

A list of "key" players missing the World Cup was here:

Quote

Which PL Teams benefit the most from players not going to the 2022 World cup?

  • Liverpool – Liverpool will be the team that benefits the most with a host of key players missing out on going to the World Cup including Salah, Diaz, Keita, Robertson, Matip, and backup options Kelleher and Tsimikas. Generally, Liverpool are the most impacted team when the Africa cup of nations are held so it’s a reverse of fortunes for them.
  • Man City – Man City will have two of their most important players Haaland and Mahrez getting a break during the WC.
  • West Ham – The hammers will have Antonio, Benrahma, Coufal, Soucek benefitting from a break.
  • Arsenal – Arsenal will see Odegaard, Zinchenko, Elneny, and Tierney getting a break when the World cup is played.
  • Spurs -Spurs also have Kulusevski and Doherty surely not going to the World cup.
  • Leicester City – Leicester have a host of attackers including Iheanacho, Daka, Lookman, and midfielder Ndidi all missing out on a WC opportunity.
  • Newcastle United: Star striker Isak will miss out on playing in the 2022 WC.

Like @Schulz2.0 said, these guys all look tired. Injuries on top of all of this are grinding down teams. The successful teams are going to be the ones that navigate this and frankly just get lucky (not having a lot of injuries).

I don't watch much Arsenal but I thought Ben White started at RB.  Am I wrong or is hurt?

Arteta said it's "squad rotation," and maybe it is (White has logged a lot of minutes, as have all our 1st XI). White has seen a slight dip in form in recent matches, but TBF all our players have.  Tomiyasu has been rock solid this year until today's miscue. Not the best time to have one.
