Tying run to the plate with no outs.  Time for George to get upset.

No shit fan had every right to that ball since it was over the fence and didn’t have to reach over.

I thought that fan did a decent job of trying to snag that HR

He did but not good enough for surly who now want to DFA him

Decent doesn’t win World Series.

Umpire strike zones have not been good the last few weeks. Seems like they have gotten larger and also inconsistent.

Wow, what a play.

Gotta tip the cap. But it still hurts. And yeah, what the fuck, fans??

He actually did on replay, but like every other poster here, I am confident I would have done a better job.

Well he didn't need to catch it.  It would have been enough to slap grichuk's glove away as soon as it broke the plane.  You have to be like a player and think about what you'll do if the ball comes to you.

Joking of course.  Kind of.

40+ year old man who brings his glove to games had a chance to make an actual meaningful play and blew it.  What a fucking choad

I do agree with that. Knock his arm away. Take his glove off. Something

This is maybe the only situation where it is ok to spill beer (right in his eyes).

Or hit the ball farther...or is it further....or more far....or farthest....or more further?

I'll be going today and tomorrow.

Don't worry, I will do my part and howl and bitch and cry every time something doesn't go our way.

Also drink a lot of Art Car.

I think of these things all the time when I have a seat along a rail. Was down the LF line for the Super Regional in Austin and reset every half inning on what I would if a fair ball was hit down the line and runner was on first.

it's the next game on the schedule, so it really is.

come on scraps, keep up.

Yeah it really is.

Lose tonight and no chance to have 3 10 game winners by end of June

After tonight, the regular season is officially halfway over as well.

Maybe I'm misremembering due to playoff home cooking, but I dont remember us feeling like a better road than home team last year. Maybe everyone just shut it down after that huge road win streak, but all year it seems like we haven't been as good at home.

It’s not that we’re bad at home, it’s just that we’re absolutely bonkers on the road.
.677 dating back to the beginning of last year.
That’s a 110 win pace over 162 games.

Going into the ASB last year, many posters were wondering if we could defer home field advantage in the playoffs.

True, I guess forums breed negativity.  Quite often this year, I've looked at this thread before turning on a game and expected us to be losing and instead we have a 3 or 4 run lead.

Regular season, this team kicks ass on the road, but home field was pretty fucking sweet in the ALCS, and WS Game 5 was the loudest sporting event I've been to.

Throughout last summer, everyone was talking about the Astros near-record pace of scoring runs on the road. The only teams that compared were teams from the 1930's era Yankees.

It wasn't really negativity, just an observation of absolute dominance on the road.  We totally obliterated fools in front of their home fans... probably made them cry and want to call the cops.

Correa out tonight with back stiffness. Cue CTJ’s Mr. Glass smack in 1...2...3...
