Again, explain to me what his value add is. You cannot.  Your "we are in first bullshit" confuses causation and correlation. He's elite at nothing. He's tolerable at a couple things, he's horrific at most.

He doesn't need a translator to have a closed-door meeting in his office with Valdez and Salazar?

Also, weren't you one of those banging the drum to replace Dusty with Espada?

Or was it everyone else that I'm thinking of?

Fuck no. I never wanted Espada. I said there was a reason why that dumb dumb had 4 or 5 interviews and didn't get the job. Did I want Dusty gone?  Yes. At basically all costs?  Yes.

My pod on the day we hired Espada read exactly like Wadlington's Preseason magazine the year we hired Chuckles the clown with best case, worst case, somewhere in the middle b/c I didn't want to come out and immediately shit on it- but if you read between the lines I expected him to suck.

All that said- manager typically isn't all that important unless he's actively undermining the team b/c they hate him or if he's playing the wrong players day in day out.  Dusty was waaaaaay too guilty of the latter. Neither of them struggle with the former- which is really the greatest problem for most managers.

Truthfully, I think it was just 3 Putt posting 874 times not some groundswell of support for Slow Joe Espada.

His value with respect to surly fanmelt is incalculable.

What are the odds that Framber hitting Salazar was intentional?  Does this really happen?  I get that you're pissed because you shook him off and got shelled, twice.  But fuck, man.  Drilling your own catcher because of your own fuckups?  That's pretty fucking low.  Hard to believe it was intentional.

Only reasons I think it was intentional is both Frambers walking away BS and Salazars wtf look after.

If it wasn’t intentional, than Framber wasn’t sorry it happened at the least

This for sure. If it was an accident you have to at least act like you feel bad about it.

The way Salazar and Framber were looking at each other, I felt a really strange tension.

I wasn’t sure they if they were going to fuck or fight.

Fight then fuck.

I’m at the hospital with man 82 year old dad having knee replacement surgery so I’ve had more time than I’d like this morning to read the webs. Former players are really lighting Frambers ass up. I stumbled across the Foul Territory podcast on YouTube and it’s hosted by two former catchers and they were both in favor of meeting Framber in the tunnel for a man to man chat if you will. Fans give Framber benefit of the doubt, I have yet to find a player or baseball person that does. It’s a really bad thing for the clubhouse either way.

Yeah, he did it on purpose.  There's no doubt with the way Salazar reacted.

You don't get called in to the manager's office for an accident.
Nope....you get called in to get told to both tell everyone it was too loud lol

According to Schwab, who's likely source is McCullers, the clubhouse was a shitshow after the game to the point where Espada had to get involved. The entire clubhouse takes after their manager, which is why this shit happened. The only people that don't think that was intentional are retarded.

where do you play him ??

Dh. Altuve at 2B. Yordan in LF.

IF RHP

Pena, Alvarez, Paredes, Altuve, Correa, Sanchez, Walker, Diaz, Meyers

IF LHP

Pena, Paredes, Alvarez, Altuve, Correa, Walker, Diaz, Meyers, Smith.

I feel fairly confident that either of those lineups should be really fucking good as there isn't a bad hitter in the bunch and should in actuallity be likely to average 1.5 runs over a playoff series as we get a brook shoved up our ass.

IF Parades comes back it won't be til postseason

Isaac Paredes said he will travel to West Palm Beach to continue his rehab at the Astros' spring training facility. He is not 100 percent yet, but is cleared to do all baseball activities, including hitting. Paredes said he is unsure if he will play again this season.

I'll pencil him in for week 3 of grapefruit league

If he can hit at all I would DH him in the playoffs and PR with Melton for him the second he got on base.  Then I would have Urias, Dubon and Caratini pinch hit in the DH spot the rest of the game.

It's not like you are going to PH for: Pena, Alvarez, Correa, Yainer, Walker, Altuve, Meyers or Sanchez.  So, yeah- rotate them all through the DH spot. Why not?
