Delay is a big win for Arkansas.  They used 1 pitcher today.  UCLA was already in the pen anyway but LSU guy could have gone deeper.

Nice organ rendition of singing in the rain

Rain delay and espn immediately cuts to sec propaganda

guessing 2+ inches of rain, on a natural surface field, with 2.5+ games to be played in one day?  What could go wrong?

Especially in the last game, I can see some catastrophic error in the field due to slipping and falling.   Maybe this is a super marvel of a draining system?  I think we will find out for sure.

Does UCLA have a pitcher that can move the ball? Maybe a slider or something?

Maybe the next guy can throw something other than batting practice. Good lord.

I just don't see UCLA as being that good....gzzzz....we missed an opportunity, for sure.

100%.  Drives me crazy thinking about it.

I'd bet a Hostess twinkie that they go home by the end of the day.

Bruins are good.  LSU is just better.  Maybe the best team here.

Head to head, Horns beat LSU 2 outta 3 at home....I'd like our chances against them.

We did, but those were slightly flukey/lucky wins emblematic of our whole season.  We were definitely starting on a peak that was over by Arkansas and stayed over.  I wouldn't give late-season us a chance against LSU or probably any of the teams in the CWS.

I’m still perplexed by what happened to Will’s and Jalin’s hitting.  Not sure I’ve seen such a huge drop off before from previous Texas teams.

I don't remember particular players, but going 20-15 after Witt went out after starting 11-0 was pretty huge.

Good luck against Arkansas

If Beidelchies (sp?) is pitching, UCLA should be able to score some runs. Holding Arkie under 15 is a different story.

So, Arkansas is the favorite to win, because of their deeper pitching staff available, then whichever team wins will have played one more game than Coastal, which will hopefully finish off that other team in their bracket soon.   Then the LSU/Arky winner will have less pitching available than Costal for the three game championship series, and if it is Arky, the no-hitter pitcher Wood is available Sunday or Monday.   Sound about right?  Would like to see Wood pitch for the championship, see if he can come within shouting distance of yesterday's performance.
