For everyone heading up to Columbus, this is the type of people you'll be hanging with:

12-year-old girl struck by sex toy thrown at WNBA game in Brooklyn; suspect sought by NYPD

The NYPD on Friday released a photo and a short video clip of a man wearing a "Beavis and Butt-Head" T-shirt and an Ohio State cap at the New York Liberty-Dallas Wings game last week at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Surveillance footage of a suspect

So safe to say these wont be the kinds high society folk you'd run into on Nantucket, Marthas Vineyard, or the Chilis at 45th and N Lamar?

There was a time when I was in Columbus frequently for work. If you like pizza, hit Tommy's. A few locations, a couple of them near campus. Got a cracker crust that's pretty good. They do cut it into squares tho.

I prefer Adriatico's pizza.  Tommy's is too greasy for me but I like pepperoni which doesn't help.

The walk from the Moxy is about 2 miles so not terrible.  Uber after the game is a nightmare so unless you want to wait 2+ hours for a ride I would not consider Uber after the game.

I'd invite you guys to our tailgate but I won't be there this year.  Enjoy the game those of you that come and I hope you are treated well.  There will always be a few assholes but I think the visiting fan experience has improved greatly in the last 20 years.

Anyone who got tix through the Foundation have any indication of when the tix will be available for download/sale? Not seeing anything available yet in what I assume is the visitors sections…

They became available this afternoon, but we have to download them in the buckeye app, I assume they can be posted from there to SeatGeek for those reselling.

Short of gangland-style slayings, it sure the hell couldn’t have gotten worse. Cops telling us to take off the orange. Women shouldered into traffic. Full beers and waters coming from buildings.

Silly bitch pushed me in the chest while four guys with her waited for a reaction. “What are you going to do, motherfucker?” “I’m going back to Texas. You can stay in the dumpster fire.” Good times. And me, like a dumbass, going back. At least it’s a day game.

Hoping ticket inventory rises now that our fans have tix in hand. Still pretty tight now…

Yeah prices have been flat for about a month. They’ve honestly gotten worse in the last 2 weeks. Wondering if it breaks

Are they in the anticipated 6C-10C?

UT told me our allotment is in 6C, 8C, and 10C. Ohio Stadium has even-numbered sections in one side of the stadium and odd-numbered sections on the other side, so don’t look in 7C or 9C unless you wanna sit with a bunch of people wearing red…

Anyone familiar with Columbus know of good bars to watch the rest of the CFB slate after we emasculate the whole state of Ohio? Looks to be plenty of sports bars, but I'd prefer not to be surrounded by midwestern townies.

Man, that sounds like a questionable plan. Going to a bar in Columbus AFTER they have been drinking for 4-6 hours would not be on my todo list. But good luck if yall do.

Your plan is to hang out in Columbus at a place where alcohol is served and game highlights are shown after Texas wins?

Ha, I've done it in the past at other away games and been fine. I'm pretty good at conflict de-escalation, but the way y'all are talking about Columbus is certainly making me think twice.

That is my plan as well for Saturday night. Get back to the hotel, and then get back out and go watch Clemson LSU somewhere downtown. Don't let the cowards on here scare you off.

What people don't know is that it isn't the townie folk, OSU grads or even most of the students that are usually the issue. It's the hill jacks from down south closer to Kentucky that really cause the issues. OSU truly cracked down on them after the Texas game, but they didn't eliminate the issues. Hill Jacks gonna hill jack and the further from campus, later and more dive bar you get the worse it will be.

Hotel bar close to campus is honestly the safest bet for watching the later games with the fewest potential issues. Anything higher end is fine. I went to local bars last time, but I was with OSU grads. There was a little shit talking but nothing unreasonable.

The Pearl has TVs at the bar and outstanding food

Thank you! That looks like a great spot, I'll probably end up there.
