I like the Flagg/Havlicek comparison.  But for me, it’s Philly Iguodala mixed with GS Iguodala at the same time with more upside on both ends.  Or Shane Battier with way better counting stats.

I do think it’s more likely he is a consistent all-star/3rd team NBA than transcendent.  But also think he’s going to have his share of rings when all is said and done.

Oh yeah? With what team?

I'm not accusing anyone of being racist but I honestly think his skin color and nationality is a serious mental block for a lot of people. Whether it's conscious or subconscious.

I'm absolutely guilty of this. I don't watch college basketball anymore save for bouncing around the competitive tournament games for a couple of weekends a year, so it's hard not to be a little skeptical. It's been a long ass time since the NBA has had all All-NBA caliber American white dude. You have to go back to Minnesota Kevin Love. Before him, all the way back to John Stockton and Mark Price. Even if you lump Steve Nash with them, that's a lot of under-the-rim, "coach on the floor" type skill sets. Gordon Hayward's best year was 22, 5, and 4.

RFA is pretty much dead now, since there is little to no cap space. Players are now stuck with their team for that 5th year. They don't have much leverage to negotiate either. Probably best to do a 1 year deal and then hit free agency the next year.

That's like bragging about  having an almost 3 inch cock. Life as a wolves fan, lulz.

I was chatting up some T Wolves staffers/trainers at the Omni in OKC during the WCF and I was surprised how the entire organizations outright hate each other.

it’s about how much flagg keeps growing as a player. his floor is already very high, it’s his ceiling that seems to be the question for most people. and yeah, if he was black it would not be as big of an issue. and that’s probably fair.

Why are we giving any credence to some ridiculous over the to post but a deranged poster. No one has said anything about Cooper Flagg not being good or when claimed he was overrated. Some whack job claims he's the 2nd coming of LeBron James and is incredulous that people aren't full theoatedly supporting that ludicrous claim that is not only unfair to Flagg but is essentially setting him up for failure if he doesn't go to fucking 10 finals.

With health, Flagg is going to be a 15-time all star.  Insane that he's only 18 years old.

Dallas' big challenge now is how to effectively build around him and not become the 03-10 Cavs.

Definitely looks like Grant Hill in these clips

No reason to trade for him when he's scheduled to be a FA in 2029.  Kid is a massive Celtics fan and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he is wearing green come October 2029.

There seems to be a disconnect here. I'm comparing Flagg as a prospect to who he reminds me of. The only other wing/forward that young with that good of an all-around game was LeBron. I don't feel the need to pretend otherwise but I get why the LeBron comp is sacrilege to most people.

I think Flagg will be a high-level franchise player and probably have a great career. That doesn't mean he's going to score 40,000 points and win 200 playoff games.

It's more likely that Flagg winds up as good as Pippen or Hill or Tatum or whoever (Havlicek) and not LeBron. That doesn’t change the fact that at 18 he is better than all of those guys.

You should put that on a banner and hang it.
