Just imagine the same statement in the context of literally any other American assassination.

The evil that men do lives after them. The good is often interred in their bones.Requiescat in pace, Charlie.

Do you have even the slightest knowledge of how broken your own brain is?  God damn, dude.  Go get some help.

there's 40% of the country whose brains are so broken they are not-so-silently celebrating this because they think it will help usher in the fascist rule they want. that same 40% are chastising everyone else pointing out this is exactly the country charlie advocated for. because, again, he thought it would usher in the fascist rule he wanted.

i won't name exactly who that might be on this board but you can read the DT thread and see who is negging what and get a good idea.

Da fuq?

Wanting to hear from the killer before unilaterally and definitively declaring "He was killed because he engaged people in the public square, put his shit out there and gave others equal opportunity to put their shit out there. Our political climate doesn't like that sort of thing." is a controversial statement?

You wouldn’t want to hear from Kennedys killer? Aight.

Total degeneracy. Yeah, I can't wait to hear from the assassin either.

I don't care what his actual words are. But, yes, it obviously matters what his motives were. Somehow I doubt it was because he just had to stop "equal opportunity public square" debates.

Don't be obtuse.

You don't want to hear from him because it might not fit your narrative.

I mean can’t we all agree that even if you are not interested in “hearing from the killer” that I dunno it might be at least something to catch the person first understand what the authorities believe to be background and motive before we sew this one all up in a tidy ball?

Nah. Too many steps.

Do you think it was wrong to want to hear from Dylan Roof, Vance Luther Boelter, David DePape, or Timothy McVeigh?

Before I can look forward to hearing the internal psychological justifications of a fucking assassin, I'm much more interested in actually having someone in custody, assessing the objective evidence, and determining potential motive based on evidence. I understand that this stuff may seem absurd to you.

That's literally what we're saying, man.

Whatever point you thought you were making, it wasn't a good one. It happens.

You're the one claiming to already know why he was killed, not us.

Ok fair

Kinda makes your earlier post on why the man was killed premature bullshit doe.

They do this for attention. You know this Jimmy. There is nothing that you can say that will get a reaction that is rooted in reality. You just let these folks go on living in their made up construct and move on. Putting people like that on ignore makes this place easier to read.

You do not, literally, read well.

Yes, I'm sure when he said "he wants to hear what the killer has to say" he meant he's looking forward to his 60 Minutes' interview and wasn't referring to wanting to understand his motive.

But, in that vein, I suppose I used literally haphazardly (okay, incorrectly).

Were there a lot of oil cans about, perchance?

These fucking assholes had nothing to say when Sandy Hook and Uvalde happened. They also are unhelpful when help is needed to rebuild those schools, and I have the receipts to prove it. I have lost all faith in my peers. Left and right. Too many people are dug in on online politics. We are fucked. We cannot be trusted with guns.

Same. I never would have guessed.

Not sure why you would have guessed, nor asked. Seems like some latent brain damage.

I know of one motherfucker kinda close to Kirk's orbit who has a pretty good motive to have him killed in the most public fashion possible.

Ben Shapiro doesn't have the balls.

Watch it just be some nut. Those TV idiots don't know shit about fuck.

Nuts usually fuck up band paint a big target on their backs - look at the anti-abortion kook who assassinated the Minnesota politicians.

Whoever did this was not some Navy SEAL or Army Special Forces/Delta sniper, but somebody who did think things through quite a bit and who obviously rehearsed it in some way, because he did it one shot. Pulling this off on a crowded college campus is no easy thing, even if he didn't have Secret Service looking for him immediately.  This was far tougher than the dude who killed the UHC CEO.

I had to look at /r/conspiracy

  • Israel/Mossad did it because he had criticized them/was in danger of turning many on the right against Israel.
  • It was a distraction from the Epstein stuff - the birthday card was the final straw
  • The old man the police dragged away was a diversion to help the shooter escape.
  • Planes flying out of Provo with transponders turned off.

Thank you /r/conspiracy, never change.
