That was a fuck up by the refs. They should have had a play and I’m still pissed about it.

That was bad, but it could have been even worse. Agree with others, Arch needs to stop looking for the home run every throw. I wish I felt confident he would get coaching to fix that, but it feels like it should have happened already. Team play still feels temperamental... getting clowned by some of the Florida players should have pissed them off, but it looked like they could care less.

Watch this team fuck around and win next week... that could very well happen. But it's hard to feel good about things.

No. No it could not have been worse. We lost to a 1-3 Florida team coached by a literal homo heidelbergensis species. We're talking about someone who learned to make fire and is just one species away from being a literal Neanderthal. The mans frontal lobe has more damage to it than a war veteran with PTSD. He was once considered either first or second dumbest head coach with Sam Pittman. We now know he's the second behind Steve Sarkisian. When you lose to Billy Napier, you need to evaluate your life choices.

That looked like a Charlie Strong coached team today. Booooooooooooooooooooo!

Everyone was thinking it, I think Michael K pointed it out first?  This team was unprepared, unmotivated, and not really trying on both sides of the ball.

How on earth can any of you come away from that game and not be on the fucking floor with your expectations for this team. That was as bad of an outcome and performance as we could have possibly had considering we just let to a guy whose own fans accurately assessed having a room temp IQ beat us. I mean it was clear as day even in the game with how he was trying to gift us opportunities to get back into it and we couldn’t do it. They weren’t healthy at all and They DOMINATED us on both lines, their receivers dominated us, if they didn’t have Billy at the helm they could’ve hung 40 on us. We will be lucky to win 3 more games this year. This team is BAD. Horrendous.  Whatever descriptor you want to assign, they are that. We’ve somehow regressed back to 2021 level. We have no running game. Non existent o line. Terrible QB. We thought we had a world class defense and they got absolutely manhandled. Program is legitimately sliding backwards at light speed.

The last series arch had choppy feet and panicked. Caldwell stood there calmly and threw the ball for a first down. Cold off the bench. Only pass arch completed was into the dirt stopping the clock and he even fucked that up!

That last drive was just incredibe.

Manning sacked, loses helmet and 10 seconds.
Caldwell hits a 26 yard strike, and we benefit from a 15 yard penalty.
Manning evades a sack and throws a 40 yard near interception.
Manning sacked.

I'll stop short of "Caldwell should starts", but Manning's pocket presence and decision making is not very good at all.  Just succeeding making normal throws makes this entire offense look better.  In that one play - and the handful of plays we've seen of him this year, he has a bit more pocket presence - and less panic - than Manning.

Edited to add: the OL did not look as shitty on that one play from Caldwell - which is a subset of my point about "entire offense."

It'll be interesting to see if Texas is even ranked tomorrow.

They will but they shouldn't, after UTEP they should have been between 15 and 20. Now they are out of there and can join Clemson.

Underestimating Florida is always stupid. They have the talent on both sides of the ball.

Every opponent plays their best game of the season against us and with the mediocre teams we are never prepared for it.

the waste of an afternoon. A mo ago we got a commit from a five-star RB from Florida. Today our offense got its ass handed to it be a team that gave up 50pts last week. Sark is a pretender. Arch needs coaching/may never reach his billing. I say it's time for a QB controversy. Split time with the #2 until a star emerges.

Tell Sark to plan on an OC next year or leave the team. Maybe he doesn't like being here. His dedication sure isn't showing up on the scoreboard.

This. Sark and the offensive staff are the reason for all our issues. Sark and this staff don't align the game plan to the talent and it's abilities. Rather they force the talent to play their game plan regardless of fit. The consistency of offensive penalties is the clear indicator that the staff doesn't play attention to detail. The NFL talent we keep shipping off is clear we have the players. The issues remain the same every year regardless of who is playing.

We have hit our ceiling and won't go any further without a complete overhaul of offensive and special teams coaching staff.

This.  The root of the problem.  All roads lead to Flood, and then to Sark for keeping this fucking spare around

Who cares, we're going to beat ou next Saturday regardless of how the rest of the season plays out.

This game really does speak to how terrible Sark and his crew are at coaching.  Your team is completely unprepared to play coming off a fucking BYE.  No tackling.  Both lines look like utter dogshit.  Soft as fuck play across the board.

And since the coaching is so piss poor and there are zero leaders on the team anywhere, you know none of this is getting fixed.  Which means this team is set to completely spiral out of control for the rest of the season.  They might pick up a win here or there, but there's no chance they whip their ass into shape and start playing to their talent level.  When you've got bend over and take it bitches from the coaching staff on down it's gonna be a loooooooooooooong fucking season.  Every team we play is going to be roaring to fuck us up knowing we'll fold like a cheap fucking tent when things get tough.

Too bad Gibson didn’t get any carries. Also, someone correct me if I’m wrong, but did Stroh play in the 4th? Or much in the second half period?

Why the fuck didn't he play? He gave some life to this shit-show running attack, which is exactly what Arch needed to reduce the pressure on him. WTF?

I can't wait for Sark's usual line....."they came out and did some things they hadn't put on film before."  No shit Sherlock--teams love to beat UT and pull out all the stops.  Have you not figured that out yet you dipshit?

Nailed it.  O-line is terrible, backs don't run with any determination, just all around suck ass.

It's ok to say Caldwell should starts. Manning ain't it right now. He just isn't.  I mean, there's just nothing else to say about it. His feet, throws, pocket awareness. It's all shit. Aside from a few passes that looked good, most of them made the WR do the work.

Wingo caught two passes laying on his back.

With Caldwell we're 4-0 (half-kidding).

We need to clean house. Sarks brought in's are failing. We need a new oline coach and a real st minimum. It's been said over and over we need a real OC but cdc will never force that on him. So what are we left to do? Wonder the desert for 5+ years?

It has nothing to do with Brooks, we're halfway through a season coming off a bye and they still don't know the best starting 5? That's complete coaching failure.
