I am kinda shocked. I really thought the maga folks were going to grab those board seats. But even our little town, clean sweep.

Does the "R" in "R. Keith Shackleford" stand for "Rusty" by chance?

Serious election, is there a single election - anywhere - that Republicans can paint as good news?

Raising taxes in Tx for dementia research is about the only possible one so far that I've seen. Which is possibly ironic.

Barstool is in my building, two blocks south of Penn Station.

I remember the spontaneous block party we had in the East Village of NYC in November 2008 when Obama won with hours of “Si se Pude” and “Yes we can” chants ringing late into the night. Mamdani has a similar vibe and a bolder vision.

I sure hope that nobody with power decides that mamdani needs to be potus in 28.  I think we’ve proven pretty convincingly that not enough people are ready for something other than white Christian man.

lol, no

It will be a race between Newsom, Shapiro, and the dark horse Ossoff

Mamdani can’t be president anyway, but he can be the defacto king of NY for a while—mayor of NYC, Gov, then Sen

Can we be politically honest here for a second. Nobody outside of the very politically online set in certain geographical regions even knew that there was important democracy taking place today.

Didn’t know he is not a natural born citizen. Comment withdrawn due to ignorance.
