We need a RB. Who’s in the portal now and can any others put their name in the future? Is there a cutoff?

It seems like we're not interested in any of the RBs currently out there, except for an offhand mention of Ibitokun-Hanks from Albany.

Look for us to go after someone disgruntled at their spot in the pecking order after spring practices.

Mannie Netherly in the transfer portal.  Famous for his decommit from aggy hours after Martel left and Hamm saying nothing to worry about with Netherly.

Any idea whether he would be eligible next year?  Seems like a pretty useful transfer possibility, if so.

4 LSU players in portal

Junior cornerback Mannie Netherly entered the portal, a source told The Advocate. The news was first reported by Matt Zenitz of AL.com.

The Texas native joins outside linebacker Dantrieze Scott and defensive tackles Davin Cotton and Dominic Livingston in the portal.

https://247sports.com/Player/Davin-Cotton-87759/

The 6-foot-3, 199-pound Netherly played in 11 games in 2018, and he was listed as the third team cornerback behind Terrence Alexander and Kary Vincent.

What's the hardship? His shit personalities or the fact he can't earn a starting job against any competition?

No no no. It’s not his hardship that causes the exception. It’s the NCAA’s hardship because they have to face his attorney. We all know the NCAA is just a little mom and pop organization that can’t possibly find the funds to face a real-life attorney in court.
