Hypothetical. If the fake Russian secret agent investigation never takes place, is there any obstruction?

If you are honest with yourself you will see why impeachment is a joke.

That train has left the satiation.

STFU.  There is no hypothetical in your mind.  Trump is business as usual for you.  And your satiation for Trump is well noted.

Absolutely he did. He didn't mock the disability. He mocked the person for making a stupid political point.

I don't object to people taking a statement and automatically assuming the worst possible interpretation because of partisan reasons. I object to it on principle, because I'm not a moron. If you can just put words into someone's mouth, facts will never matter. Any generic statement could be a "dog whistle" to Nazis.

Your delusion is comfortable, enjoy it. But I wish you all the best, and to come anywhere near that state, you will have to embrace reality.

Well we didn't go a week without a new hoax. Media all in an uproar about Trump retweeting a "doctored" video of Pelosi. It was wasn't doctored. It was edited. There was no doctoring.

Obviously Hillary had to get in on the game, and claims the "doctored" video (Hillary needs a doctor, that's different) is "sexist trash". Never stop doing you, Hilldawg.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/hillary-clinton-slams-trump-for-speading-sexist-trash-about-pelosi/ar-AABS19C

The media that is complaining about Trump doctoring videos.  This wouldn't happen to be the same media who criticized Trump for dumping a whole bag of fish food into a koi pond in front of the Japanese prime minister and saying he was being disrespectful to the prime minister while at the same time editing out the portion of the video that showed the Japanese prime minister doing the exact same thing a minute earlier would it?

I don't know. Are you talking about the media that actively pushed the theory that electing Trump would lead to nuclear war? Or are you talking about the media that pushed the #fakenews story that Paul Joseph Watson's video was doctored? That media?

Let's be clear about what you're saying. You're pointing out that I once misstated something. Is that right? And you think this isolated fact has persuasive power regarding whether or not the MSM is constantly engaging in hoaxes? This is your statement? Do I summarize correctly? I made a mistake so the media isn't constantly hoaxing people?

Cool, I’ll try to flesh it out a bit more. i’m saying you have multiple posts belittling certain stories that you claim are hoaxes. So first off,  in looking at the stories it takes real mental gymnastics to see them rising to your “hoax” viewpoint since every claim is only selecting certain facts, ignoring others, and you’d be hard pressed to qualify them as hoaxes.

secondly, when there is an honest to god hoax, aka bullshit story, you not only bought it without further critical analyzation, you posted a new thread on it, and defended it multiple times! In fact, I haven’t looked at that thread in a while, but did you ever admit you were wrong and eat crow in it? So to label it a simple  singular “misstatement” is brazenly disingenuous.

So to be clear what I’m saying is that much like the pizza gate crowd that thinks there is a child smuggling ring run out of pizza parlor but does nothing about child concentration camps, that freaks out with no gestapo in bastropo but says jack shit when troops are ordered to the border for a fake crisis, I think it is very funny that of course you posted links  to dubious stories that are fanciful interpretations of legitimate concerns.

in fact, I think that it is such an incongruous and distorted viewpoint of reality that it rises to the level of mockumentary sarcasm, so I’ll ask again, are you trying to be Colbert? Is it all an act? Are you going for a faux conservative that really is pointing out the insanity of trump supporting mental midget charlatans? If so, the execution is lacking but “A” for effort.

I’m sorry, do you know what a hoax is?

-The president joked (repeatedly! That’s not ok, you can’t say fire in a theater either) about extra terms and is refusing lawful subpoenas.  You could reasonably argue the crisis label is hyperbole but then what would you call it? Definitely not a hoax. And as a country I’d hope we could all agree that we definitely cannot allow any presidential actions to ever again jokingly go down that road. Full stop, it should never be okay.

- so now you know more about the legal system than hundreds of AGs who said obstruction could be charged? How very “circumstantial” of you.....You are a goddamn Learned Hand, Cardozo, and Thurgood all rolled into one! That doesn’t qualify as a hoax and I think you know that deep down.

-that’s debatable but again spin isn’t a hoax and it is troubling how the AG is holding water for the shit stain in chief.

- haven’t heard that one but who knows, I’ll leave that for now. If it is like your other assertions it’s is way to premature to label it a hoax.

Until someone tells me how many former federal prosecutors (that's what they were, they were not attorney generals) there are rolling around in the United States I have no reason to care about the 300 hundred that signed that letter.  I have no idea if that is 90% of the former federal prosecutors in the country or 1% of the federal prosecutors in the country.  However, given the hard-on the media has to get rid of Trump it would be a reasonable conclusion that if those federal prosecutors made up a significant number of the total former federal prosecutors that exist the media would be making sure everyone in the country knew exactly what that percentage was.  Instead they haven't said a thing which leaves me to conclude that it is a meaningless percentage.  I do know that the person in charge of investigating this was the former head of the FBI in the Obama administration and he still did not charge Trump with obstruction of justice.  His job title is special prosecutor.  If he has enough evidence to charge someone with a crime then according to his job title that is what he is supposed to do.   Adam Schiff has been blabbering about having seen conclusive evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians for the last two years.  He has the clearance to see everything.  If he has this evidence or knows what documents prove his accusations why didn't he tell Mueller about it?  The answer,  he hasn't got squat.  If he did he wouldn't be whining about Trump declassifying the documents.  You idiots are like Charlie Brown. You keep believing that every investigation is going to be the one where Lucy doesn't pull the football away from you.  All this is is political propaganda designed to try to lower Trump's approval ratings and damage his chances of re-election.  Oh yeah, it's not going to work because fewer people in this country trust either the media or Congress more than they do Trump.

By the way it is very ironic that the partisan media who are parroting the DNC's calls of Constitutional crisis are eager and willing to ignore every part of the Constitution in order to get rid of Trump.

So outside of the obstruction claims, where aren't a hoax and I didn't claim it was a hoax, did you refute any of the hoaxes? Would you feel better if I use the term #fakenews. Either way, it's a constant stream. Constant.

I appreciate your effort there. At least you aren't super ad hominem.

Incidentally, the reason Trump didn't mock the guy's disability is in this video. Trump's go to move is this weird, flopping around awkward hand gesture movement. He's done it dozens of times on camera. He describes lots of people exactly the same way, including Ted Cruz among others. Trumps just isn't real smart and he didn't make the connection before going to his standard little mocking routine.

Again, the game people are playing is to take the loosest possibly interpretation of a statement and ascribe maximum malice to it. It's ridiculous. lulz.  trump is finished.  he could cure cancer tomorrow, and he'll be at 42.  he could knife a guy on live tv, and he'd be at 42.  impeachment matters just about zero.  you know how i know?  because it hasn't happened.  pelosi knows she can run out the clock and win in 2020.  she's just trying to keep her people from losing their minds in the meantime.

also, try to mix in a paragraph break every now and then.  just a suggestion.

I know we have many people here mad that Pelosi hasn't started an impeachment inquiry. You are correct in why she has not. Dotard is going to be a Jimmy Carter or Bush the elder. He is done and she knows it. His approval rating is rightfully atrocious and it is not getting better.

While I would like to see him shitcanned now I can deal with Pelosi stonewalling him until November 2020 and putting the onus on our fellow Americans to remove this aspiring and wanna be dictator from office.

Wasn’t aware of Ian bremmer or this controversy but just looked into it.  He looks to be as much of a journalist as hannity. In other words, he isn’t a journalist and therefore he isn’t reporting news but rather reports his opinions.

However I do agree that someone on the public stage should be a bit more clear when paraphrasing.

regardless I bet trump would agree that Kim or Putin would make a better president than Bidan.

Considering his sole criteria for what makes a good president is whether or not the individual in question likes him, I'm sure you're right.

https://dailycaller.com/2019/05/26/ian-bremmer-fake-trump-quote/

Time Magazine columnist Ian Bremmer on Sunday tweeted a quote from President Donald Trump about North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un that quickly went viral — but it wasn’t real.

“President Trump in Tokyo: ‘Kim Jong Un is smarter and would make a better President than Sleepy Joe Biden.'” Bremmer wrote on Twitter.

While Trump did praise the North Korean dictator’s insult of former Vice President Joe Biden, the president never said what Bremmer quoted him saying — because Bremmer made it up.

Bremmer left the false post up for several hours before conceding he made up the quote and deleting the tweet, which he defended as “plausible.”

If this alleged quote from Trump is accurate, it’s a huge propaganda win for the disgusting murderous tyrant that is King Jong Un.

But if this quote is fabricated, it’s a truly deceitful piece of Fake News.

And I’d like more than just Ian Bremmer’s say-so before I decide which.

“This is objectively a completely ludicrous quote. And yet kinda plausible. Especially on twitter, where people automatically support whatever political position they have. That’s the point.” Bremmer wrote in a since-deleted correction.

Bremmer’s tweet went viral among Trump critics before he took it down.

“Don’t shrug your shoulders. Don’t get used to this insanity,” wrote CNN contributor Ana Navarro.

“The President of the United States praising a cruel dictator who violates human rights, threatens nuclear attacks, oppresses his people, and kills political opponents, IS NOT FREAKING NORMAL,” Navarro added.

Her tweet amplifying Bremmer’s fake quote was shared thousands of times across Twitter.

Navarro was far from alone in falling for the made up quote.

Democratic Calif. Rep. Ted Lieu also spread Bremmer’s false tweet. Lieu later wrote that he “removed the retweet” after Bremmer admitted the quote was fake.

Left-wing activist group Media Matters‘ deputy director of rapid response, Andrew Lawrence, also amplified the invented quote.

Lawrence called it “equally incredible how easily manipulated the president is and also that democrats havent [sic] figured out how to take advantage of this yet,” pointing to Bremmer’s false tweet.

Other critics of the president similarly promoted the false information.

News and editorials are viewed as one in the same by the people trying to prove their political points today.  While they are definetely not the same, that doesn't keep people from using them as if they are in fact the same.

The doctored video of Nancy is a pretty fucked up example. The fake quote by Bremmer is just as bad.

The lefts (favorite )use of the term Nazi is one of the more despicable, and insulting terms used to describe what's (allegedly) going on here in comparison to what actual nazis did to their victims.

They are legit stories that are being pursued and not hoaxes. Don’t think anything I say can be different from what’s out there but ok. Russia “hoax” isn’t a hoax. We can agree to disagree on the extent of their impact but it’s not a hoax. Words have meaning.

Didnt click the mocking video but just because he might do it to other people doesn’t mean he isn’t also mocking the reporter.

And sure, there is full malice or idiocy being applied to everything trump says. I agree. But it isn’t like that occurred in a vacuum. Trump puts out hate and ignorance, so he gets it in return. I’m okay with that. Was the cnn journo bad at her job? Maybe, Probably, but I think journalists from across the spectrum are just bad at their jobs. From national to local. And yes it is embarrassing.

This is actually an incredibly reasonable take. I get it. I think that with the drumbeat of the media, normal people with reasonable judgment can be concerned about Trump, Russia, and associated events. But the basic elements of a transaction, the commonality of interests, even a single overt act by Trump, they've all been lacking from the beginning. I said that the Russia hoax was the world biggest cocktease back on Shaggytexas, and I was banned for that. But it's true. It's the media fanning some embers into a fire, but there's no fuel. Sure, there was some smoke, but that doesn't mean there's a raging inferno. But the outrage machine has gotten a lot of well meaning people very hot and bothered.

I'll stand by my use of the word hoax. It's deliberate. I watched the Covington Kids video, and the very first thing I saw was the Indian stolen honor dude approaching the MAGA kid. It was obvious the "activist" was looking for attention. And the media said the kids were causing trouble. But they had no evidence from the beginning, and it was all on tape. And like I said with the Nancy Pelosi "it's doctored" thing, it's constant. They've decided that Trump has given the license to go full activist mode. They're modern day Pharisees. The Elect. They preach, we worship.

Sorry buds, but fuck right off. I mentioned in an earlier post that CNN, WaPo, NY Times, all of the major liberal papers have disabled comments. Why do you think that is? Their own subscribers are mocking them. Nearly everyone know they're a joke.

I realize there was always liberal bias, but things are worse now. It's worse. I can't get news from the news. It's turribad.
