  1. Past hour
  2. Their dad dying in this manner could be the best thing to happen to them - whatever bullshit illusion he was pushing on them has been shattered. I doubt he volunteered to go to the front, and I doubt Russia would risk an asset like him if he was in their good graces - I wouldn’t be surprised if he pissed somebody off. Would have been funny if it was Steven Segal.
  3. Yeah my 15yo son had similar issues, until he got his first girlfriend right at the end of the schoolyear. Now he's gaming a lot less and he's become a workout fiend (dad, I actually have ABS, check this out!). Also, he now showers daily and brushes his teeth at least 3x per day! Just a maturity issue for him, and he's finally coming around.
  4. I thought that was just a fantastically accurate phrase.
  5. You just missed some in March and April. I think the institutional money flowing in will dampen volatility somewhat. A good general rule here is when nocoiners start posting then it’s a good time to buy. Here’s a few examples. They all could’ve made a great financial decision by fading themselves.
  6. Hmmm, maybe this is why I hadn't heard about this. If you just search on his last name some posts show up. But appears you cant search using his full name.
  7. Oh, 100%. For conversation, always go with the ugly/unusual stripper. That's just a good rule of thumb across the board.
  8. Spoilered below is a long and thorough article written by one of the Sooners Illustrated guys. It's regarding their position groups and returning production. It's another illustrative way to review the strengths and weaknesses of this OU team. They're going to very good in some spots (DT, DE, S) and terrible in others (WR, TE) with some question marks at QB, OL, LB and one of the CB spots. QB is question merely due to needing to see Mateer week in, week out go up against quality opponents and produce while staying healthy.
  9. I’ve read that a very, very, very unattractive stripper is the most interesting stripper. Because of the type of jobs that they are forced to accept because of their unattractiveness. So they wind up beingmuch better luncheon conversation companions, what with the midget, sharpie and donkey stories and so forth..
  10. Got skunked on the am walkup list at Lions yesterday, so wound up going around a couple of times at Hancock. Course is in great shape, greens are very much not. First 9 slow as molasses, second at a decent paced. Paired up with some fun randos. $18 well spent. Should leave the driver in the trunk more often
  11. Any pics of the soon-to-be widow?
  12. I think you may have the relationship backwards. Shouldn’t you have drowned the week before him?
  13. This could have been @Jade if she'd have gotten on the bus to LA
  14. RAMONCE!!!! I think that my phone switched the spelling as I was looking for the period! Apple doesn’t know nuthin’ about Ramonce.
  15. The dams are still there. Not much else. Lots of debris that will eventually be cleared out.
  16. my 15 year old is a band rockstar not a leader rock star yet even though he was the only soph promoted but his musical ability is phenom. but for music he would be a gamer 24/7, and he still needs to crawl out of his shell (including more frequent showers and other personal hygiene activities). hoping soph year is it.
  17. "I don't have a $65 shirt and I have a job" I wish I could show this show to my kids.
  18. Idk if it’s 6 million that was just a guess. And before Caitlin there weren’t that many butts in the seat or eyeballs on the tele. This is a charity also you’re making my point when you’re pointing out revenue of other leagues. The wnba is so far behind it doesn’t register
  19. Yup. I'm gonna need them to somehow get gimpy Paul George back on this roster before I can justify the use of the "contending" descriptor
  20. We used to have something called the Theo principle, in which whatever bad thing you did as a kid recently, Theo would do that week on the show. Lie to his parents, get caught sneaking out, bad grades…. without fail. Long story short I think I’m about to drown.
  21. Same here. Early on I never really worried about my daughter's "third space." Since elementary school she was active in sports year round, and then got into guitar. So when high school rolled around, she had a third and fourth space -- the basketball team and the classical guitar program. I was a little worried about my son. He was never into sports except for basketball, and he had nowhere near his sister's athletic ability. So I had some concern over whether he would find his "thing," and I didn't consider sitting in his room gaming all the time as a "thing." Unlike his sister who was playing guitar since second grade, he had expressed no interest in musical instruments, until he got to middle school, and then without any suggestion from me or his mom, told us he wanted to join the band and play flute. By eighth grade he was first chair in the flute section and marching with McCallum High. And he loves his band community, which has been so good for his social development.
  22. that's an awesome story. this kiddo is pretty dialed in we will see what he comes up with, but this is great advice. do you remember what question you were answering that led to telling that story?
