  1. Past hour
  2. Alright on further review it's pretty god damn good. It's funny because I like those two tracks by her a lot but can do without literally everything else I've heard from her.
  3. You are likely talking about Smokey Mos.
  4. Take out the insoles, replace with some Dr scholls from HEB. Doesn't matter which ones. Thank me later.
  5. that's the part that enrages me the most. this regime could have just coasted on the policies from their predecessors and claimed all the good coming from it as their own, and I would have been fine with it because I wouldn't be lying awake at night wondering if I can keep my business or not.
  6. I'm legit bummed they don't play Kentucky this year. Watching them lose to a Stoops coached team with Calzone running the show at QB would be too funny.
  7. Yeah, but they don't use Gobelin machinery in the apparel biz. Sukenon is the industry leader.
  8. Only down a small amount today but 4 month lows
  9. It's funny because if Harris would have won, we probably would have seen the market continue the same trajectory it had with Biden and the Fed would have cut rates 2 or three times by now.
  10. Barbacoa is what is first on my list, so that's why we are planning on being there early. I grew up on sunday morning barbacoa with a cold Big Red, so this is a must.
  11. DAF extension watch is officially underway.
  12. I’d guess Brooks is the primary backup at both tackle spots (something that might have ended up happening anyway).
  13. There was some awful place in the wolf creek center which served brisket you couldn't cut with a knife. Just inedible. They responded to my sister's review that it was way undercooked with an explanation that the red was the smoke ring.
  14. Worth pointing out that apparel is a classic case of manufacturing and import/export. There's raw material (cotton wool silk synthetics), intermediate goods (thread fabric), and finished goods (the actual clothing), and an import/export/tariff scenario at every step.
  15. Shorts are the silent killer the medical establishment does not want you to know about.
  16. Did they change the actor for Dale? His voice and accent are different and it's fucking with my head.
  17. It appears that @Hitch, the bitch, has run away.
  18. Do they have people skills? Are they good at dealing with people? Do they talk to the customers so the god damn engineers don't have to?
  19. Somehow, Mia Scott was able to make some of the most athletic plays at third base with a torn ACL. I’m sure medical advances are partially to credit, but also Mia Scott just has that dog in her.
  20. The ether has communicated with my predecessors.
  21. Well, @Bozo_Casanova just sent me down a rabbit hole. Somehow I have missed an introduction to "elite overproduction." Thinking I could have waited another two or three years for that. Pulled the mail today and there was a hand-addressed envelope for my daughter from the one place I was able to drag her to last Monday, on the school's last organized visit day of the summer. No idea what's in it or who it could be from -- the sophomore cheerleader who led our three-student group tour, the VP for admissions who we briefly met as she visited with folks before things got underway, the recruiting coordinator for our region, our assigned financial aid advisor, or the assistant coach who came to find her within five minutes of our checking in (this after my last-minute question to the admissions office on the final afternoon before the event -- "Would a coach possibly be available?"). Folks at this school's admissions office are highly organized and good at what they do. They told everyone in attendance that applicants get a four-year, $1,000 annual scholarship just for showing up at recruiting day. That leaves everyone with about $69K to go, but I could see that everything they did and said was quite purposeful. My daughter will get into this school if she wants, but it's a private in Seligson's "buyers" list. The question is how affordable they'll make it and whether my daughter wants to take advantage of some possibilities. We won't dictate what she does in school, whether it's sports (she's not sure) or her current employer (which has an office near this university). But that's why our son is her current "consultant" -- he has really taken advantage of opportunities in his path. Now I've got to figure out whether to tell her I'm one of the disenfranchised not-really-elites who have been overproduced and how that affects the bottom line for her next four years. I'll probably skip the theory and just show her the numbers. 😁
  22. There's a great still pic out there and I can never find it. Terrol Dillon vs Stanford 99 about the 11:00 mark
  23. 50K armed deserters. wowza That is like Newt Knight and his crew on steroids and vodka. 50k is equal to the number of all US military deserts during World War II in Europe. But we had almost 2,000,000 servicemen in Europe at the time, and the geographic reach of where all the troops were stationed is vastly greater than the small amount of territory in an occupied Ukrainian area.
  24. That's why there was no line.
  25. For those so inclined, Monday's is any two meals for $14.99 at Long John Silver's. They had a special last week for buy one platter, get one free. I may or may not have had two Fish and Chicken platters.
