Well Written Content OU Football 2025 - League Average & Loving It

I was listening to Hester and EJ Manual today on Off Campus on XM 84 and they unveiled their #25 team today - Oklahoma. They did a good job with it, talking to the voice of OU, some dude named Howland or Rowland. He gave you every OU trope imaginable. It was awesome. High expectations in Norman! The roster is top of the SEC competitive! Mateer is going to competing for the Heisman and Ott will be a force to lead the conference in rushing! The defense is going to be amazing! Anyway, later on, EJ went through his view on Mateer after watching him in all of his games last year on tape. He was polite and gave the platitudes you expect the media to give about the guy, but then he actually got honest. He said the guy takes way too many sacks and that isn’t going to cut it with OU’s schedule. He was fine with his arm but questioned his read speed, which he also thought could be a problem. Bottom line is that that dude, who watches a lot of QB tape, isn’t sold. It’s a lot of the same stuff we’ve talked about here, but usually the talking heads have been lazy about looking at the guy beyond just checking his stats. -
And this is why these people will never be reachable. It’s a cult, full stop.

Yeah, but I think our average starting position ranked fairly low. We may have had a good percentage of drives that started at 40+ but I think we also had a lot of drives that started inside our 20. Our special teams did not really help us last year. -

Friend and I had a sleepover while his nurse mom was working overnight. We watched Teen Wolf followed by The Howling. I was not ready for Howling. -

This video really got me excited. I’ve been a Texas football fan since 1970, when my dad came back from Vietnam and decided we were going to finally settle down in Austin Texas. Almost immediately I was obsessed with the team. Nixon giving them the trophy. Roosevelt Leaks. Earl Campbell. There were a lot of highs and lows, of course culminating with 2006 in the Rose Bowl. I was there and it was glorious. For the first time since 2006 it feels like this program is at a place where it could have tremendous success again. The thing about Texas football history is that the program always peaks its head up for some glory from time to time, but rarely made a consistent run at the top over a long period of time. It’s hard to do. We have a chance to stay at the top as one of the truly elite programs year after year, and that’s an awesome opportunity. Go Arch. Go Horns. Let’s finally get one this year. -

This will cheer you up -- he's not lonely. He's friends with the songwriter/singer (and some of his friends as well), and they all come over to visit him in his garden. We desperately need a new commitment to get this thread back on track. -

Rats of NIMH and Watership Down were great books as a kid. The movies seem to really amp up the terror. -
My buddies used to buy drugs from the victim, so the framing story doesn’t really hold water.

Daly getting addicted to hand sanitizer was one of the funnier bits. One of the issues is they can't do the "Happy doesn't know X about golf" jokes like the big fake checks, standing in front of the guy about to tee off, etc. They did do some of that with Bad Bunny being the caddy that doesn't know anything about golf though.

Bernie is worth I believe around $3B and that is after paying the crown 650M+ for tax evasion. Granted he has a 5-year old to save for college, but I think Bernie could pull together enough between he, Flavio, and a few others.
