  1. Past hour
  2. He’s playing with guys trying to make the team too. Some starters are in street clothes in the sideline. Like the Cowboys yesterday! Ain’t no way in hell that I’d pay 50 to park, $$$ for say two tickets, plus concessions for that shit show of no names. Yes, the uniform/brand was on TV and that’s why I tuned in for the 1st half, but by mid 3rd, I decided I was better off searching for something on Netflix. Hook’em!!!
  3. Does anyone expect an honest answer from a guy who loves violating unsuspecting couch cushions?
  4. Crazy how Earl sometimes carried the ball like shown below... 🤘 Saw Earl carry the ball that same way in many NFL games too...
  5. playing from the whites is course management...
  6. he won't, but he will have the velocity I think. the concern right now for me is his ability to throw strikes and avoid walks.
  7. turning the ball over is far worse than a sack.
  8. Hang in there ROFLBOX. We are all behind you.
  9. They sure did. I’m eagerly awaiting the regret posts we’ll be seeing from people as our economy spirals out of control while prices keep going higher. What a time to be alive to see 80 million buffoons get exactly what they deserve.
  10. Funny you say that. I moved away from that area before high school but I would’ve gone to Lanier. When I was in the 4th grade, they pulled a lot of us out of our mostly white elementary school off Anderson Lane and bussed us over to East Austin because they didn’t have enough white kids over there I guess. We lived a few blocks from Anderson and Burnet. My recollection is it was a mostly white neighborhood. I think Lanier also pulled kids from up near the Rundberg area, which is probably where her assumption comes from.
  11. I’m assuming those are some numbers associated with Kreul. If they were ever true (I doubt the 40 time at any point in his HS career), you don’t think measurables can change in 2+ years for a 15 year old?
  12. Wilson was worse he took like ten sacks Dolphins just suck too
  13. Florida LSU Alabama Georgia <<power gap everyone else
  14. better at run blocking slightly worse at pass blocking, and it won’t matter at all because Arch has wheels and Sark would rather run a lot and open up play action anyway It could be somewhat what hurt us last year was not being able to reliably run the ball against top defenses.
  15. I love Tang. Might not taste the same as what the astronauts use though.
  16. Well , I did she had an oral fixation which was nice , but I had to give it up for my own health . Don’t need to derail this thread any further it’s pretty sad and serious . I was in Austin around that time and that whole event was horrific . Everytime it pops up on one of these threads , I look to see if it was solved , then I wish I didn’t .
  17. Any January playoff game in KC, Buffalo or Baltimore is an automatic loss. So they need to sell out on getting home field throughout the playoffs. The discussion begins and ends there.
  18. your dogs are acting like you framed that pic of a snack but they never got it, as though you never feed them, and instead you ridicule them and laugh at them in a maniacal sinister laugh while only you enjoy your ill gotten steak rewards. shame on you @Bozo_Casanova
  19. It is pretty wild to think 3 years ago at this time we were convincing ourselves the primary reason he needed to be our starter was because he was going to open up the deep passing game. 3 years later and your jaw almost hits the floor if he throws a catchable pass over 30 yards. Just an odd career arc. All the usual nice statements apply (won a lot of games, had some great moments, good teammate, good Longhorn). Unfortunately, the NFL doesn’t care about any of that.
  20. no doubt a great throw. add Bama 2023 too. probably OU as well (not his fault our D couldn't hold OU). Go back and look at my posting during last season, I was team Ewers (and I knew who he was then). Whole body of his work at texas though - now that it's over - many more times than not looked like today. clutch throws then wtf.
  21. Anyone got whatever he linked to for those of us with no X accounts?
  22. You all know I am a Sox fan. But the Astros are my number 2. Fuck the Yankees. Yeah, what he said.
  23. Thank you
  24. Appreciate this perspective a lot. I enjoy a more detailed discussion of anything that sparks my curiosity, and the OAG did that because I'd not heard of it. I don't think I'm nostalgic, except maybe for a childhood when I was able to be more easily impressed by things like a "free" meal on a plane. Flew very little when I was young and have only experienced enough of it since to be able to see which parts of the experience have eroded over time, which is probably most of them except the high-end stuff and the presence of things that were only Jetsons material before. Flying is a kick in the nuts if you're not business class or above, or fortunate enough to have a single-leg trip. I'd probably rather drive from NY to LA. Free wifi ain't gonna save the experience for me, but a Kindle book and my own music makes it more bearable. I'm with you there. Can't say I'd rather have a bad free meal on the plane than an acceptable to decent one in the airport. But the entire flying experience seems to have deteriorated. Navigating take-out selections in the jammed, narrow concourses at O'Hare, for instance, is a nightmare that made me pick hunger over the prospect of missing a connection last year. At the same time, I also remember flying to a conference around 1997 or so from Easterwood Regional in College Station. Flight was at 7:35 a.m. and I woke up at 7:10. Even though I was six miles from the airport, I made the plane. If I have to venture an opinion, it's that air travel did strike me as more bearable and even humane when I first flew and wasn't horrible when I was a younger adult and flying on my own. From parking to security to picking up baggage, it's more a trial now, and a decent part of that probably is a function of aging. No question on your final point, though. Except ... pics.
