Sheik’s episode was this week. His nephew, Sabu, had plenty of snippets, passed last week. One of Sheik’s granddaughters ain’t bad.

When was this model implemented? Prior to the season; or was it some strategic gamesmanship by the conference?

More late MLBN action. A’s down 4-3 to LAD, top 8, runner on 2nd, 1 out.

I'm so sad this is completed. This has been fantastic. Season 2 actually improved on Season 1 which doesn't happen often,

Yeah, I think there's also a big difference in pacing for a series versus a movie.

Been around ten years since I finally gave up and admitted my teeth have always been pure rotten shit. I think I was at 11 or 12 crowns and looking at another two or three plus some of the old ones rotting out underneath... I went and had all 25 remaining teeth yanked in one marathon day and put 4 titanium screws implanted in top and four in the bottom (called "all on four") and next morning screwed in the newbies. That same day, I ate an apple or three for lunch along with a damn nice Ruben. Never had a second's worth of problems, never looked back, best damn dental decision ever made. I did look like someone who'd been kicked in the face about fifty times by Tommy Nobis - but that only lasted a week or so.

Wolves doing God’s work knocking out the Lakers and Warriors in back to back series. Thank you!
-
Yep! They should go even further in my opinion and reduce the number of teams allowed in the tournament.

Seems like you have two options 1) Don't read Orangebloods at work. You never know what kind of offensive thing will be posted here. 2) Tell your boss about Jermaine committing to Texas, let him/her read the thread, and high-five him/her as they celebrate the good news.

You have it pretty much exactly. The top two regular season teams each host one side of the bracket. The top seeded teams to win each side advance to the championship series. The championship series is hosted by the highest seeded of the remaining two teams. I love it. Rewards winning a lot of regular season games, which is a weakness in a lot of post-season conference tourneys IMO. Also gives home field advantage, which is great. Really great for UTRGV, which will put 6000 fans in the stands for all of their games down there.

?? Do you think the Gators should not get a bid to the tourney? That 1 win in the first 4 SEC series (with many injuries) sucked, but we’ve won every series since then - and have a very low RPI. Because I think that turning it around matters. Late good should always weigh more than early good, IMO. We have the second longest bid streak in the country, as we have appeared in the tournament every year since 2007. Last year we had to beat Georgia to get above .500 to accept a bid. We still made it to the quarterfinal. I’m obviously biased, but I don’t think Florida as a three seed would be the worst travesty ever.

Several of our distributors have in their signatures “pricing is only as good as the time of quote. All prices subject to change at anytime” I know several are updating pricing for copper wire by the hour. I can’t imagine the headaches they have for switch gear that has 52-64 week lead times as this stuff constantly changes while trying to shore up the rest of the electrical components needed for a building to maintain costs. If you don’t have switch gear the rest of the equipment in the building doesn’t do you much good. Lots of relationships being tested at the moment.

We're 13 million over the first apron. Whatever we do it's going to involve shedding salary. I wonder if we bring back exum for 3 million again. Hardy basically didn't play at the end of the season even when healthy so I can't imagine he'll be here in October. I've said it before - Gafford for Reaves straight up solves issues for both teams. I'd rather keep PJ than Klay. Send him to LA also.

Obviously, this wasn’t her first bad decision.

Which is interesting, as Fien and Cunningham are the only players at their respective positions (SS & 3B) in our 2025 recruiting class. Otherwise, it's largely an absolute cornucopia of pitching talent, which will be well received by us all. 2B: Mendoza will be back. 3B: ARod and Borba will be back. One will play 3B, while the other battles for the DH spot. 1B: I'm curious what happens here. Chamberlin? Portal? SS: does Flores come back since he's had huge drop off offensively? Seems 100% likely we go to the portal here, if not. C: any chance Galvan comes back? Can Chamberlin be an every day catcher? Service won't be, and we certainly won't be starting true freshman, Courville. Seems likely we go to the portal here too.
