And you won't be missing anything staying there instead of Starkville.
-
@TxEx84 I'll be there with an amigo as well. Between you, me and @GottaB sounds like we'll have 12 or so folks. So $100ish per person. If you were open to reserving the spot I'd be open to chipping in $200. Maybe make plans for some grub and drinks? I'm driving in and could bring coolers, canopy and a some chairs. PM me if interested.

FWIW Jake Kreul, Izayia Williams, and Malakai Lee would move us to 303.99 in the 247 rankings. -
Look at Columbus MS as well if you dont mind a 30ish minute drive. Could save a few hundred dollars.

Most of them are, but a big chunk make perfect sense - DEN, AUS, PHX, LAX, DFW, etc. Some of them are just dumb when the code aligns with the airport name and not the city name. People confuse IAH/HOU because the HOU one is the small, 95% domestic one and IAH is the big international hub. Neither of New York's airports contain NY/NYC in them, same with Chicago. It's basically like learning another language. -

Did we ever determine if he really did say “face rape” on national tv? It sure sounded like it, but it’s hard to imagine anyone thinking that would be a good idea.

Visiting family in Vancouver BC soon. My aunt recently retired and built a home in Blaine, WA. We’re all naturalized citizens. And now my parents don’t want to cross the border right now. What a world. I don’t have fast pass, border crossing should be a breeze with it being a ghost town right? 😂 -
My problem with Albini was his insistence that his way was the only true way. I don't have any problem with an engineer or producer advocating a certain work flow, certain techniques, etc. but to dogmatically assert that there are no other options is arrogant in the extreme. For instance: I hated his drum sounds. I don't know if it was his room, the fact that he used about a dozen mics on a kit, the way he chose and placed those mics, or what, but I didn't like the outcome. That doesn't mean Nirvana or Pixies or Jesus Lizard didn't love what he did, and I hope that was the case. In a similar way, some artists may really want creative input, either because they simply don't like where they are and haven't learned how to veer from that path, or maybe they have some vague idea in their head but they need help getting there. I really would have loved to see Albini tell Quincy Jones he was doing it wrong.

Many companies will true up the match for employees at the end of the year for those who maxed out early. Once again its always good to read the documents if not reach out to the plan administrator at your company. You miss out on some growth opportunity with the match being delayed but at least you receive it. Bonuses have never counted as much of my overall comp but I’ve never run across my smallish bonuses being hit with a retirement % withdrawal. I could see that being different for those more dependent on bonuses.

I had to look it up since I was curious. The airport was previously named McCoy Air Force Base, named after Colonel Michael Norman Wright McCoy. He died in a plane crash during a bombing competition. -

I read the DT note as meaning the pursuit/addition of a fifth DT is not being talked about, not that the player would be a sleeper. -

People trying to bring the Shuttle Discovery to Texas
Chad Fuck replied to atomheartbevo's topic in Daily Texan
This is all so very dumb. Yes, Houston should've received a Shuttle back when they were retired, but they dropped the ball and NY swept in. The rest all make sense. Of course NASM should have the most historical orbiter. One should go on the East Coast (Atlantis), one should go on the West Coast (I'll argue that should have been Enterprise, but ultimately was Endeavor) and one in the middle of the country (Houston - Enterprise) so that the majority of the population that paid of them could see them. The outlier is of course, Enterprise to NYC of all places that had nothing to do with the program. Moreover, though I love the Intrepid Museum and I'm sure it gets lots of visitors, the Shuttle building plopped down on its deck to cover the shuttle just seems totally incongruous with the museum. I always believed NY getting the shuttle was a sort of sop from Obama to Schumer. The articles above don't say that, but I can't believe that wasn't happening. Especially as shitty as Cornyn and Cruz were to Obama. But coming back now trying to undo this arrangement just seems incredibly stupid and costly. Another example of fixing a problem costing far more than to do it right the first time. It's all spilled milk. Stupid election season play for votes. Hopefully it goes away after. Even politically it seems to be Cornyn trying to assert a remedy no one was asking for. -
💯 Hang in there @MissingInAction. You can do this. It sucks donkey balls though a trough of pig shit but it will be over soon(ish) in the grand scheme of things. Stay strong and keep posting pics of Luna.
