They’ll think phage is a slur and try to get it shut down -
It would save Trump a lot of heat if they overturn it and he doesn't have to pardon her.

Say what you will about the guy, but you have to admire Trump’s strict message discipline in the face of this controversy -
The press conference is scheduled for 11am MT, so a little under an hour from now.

bump. Houston recently banned homeless people from EADO and downtown. https://www.houstonpublicmedia.org/articles/news/city-of-houston/2025/07/16/526508/houston-city-council-effectively-bans-homeless-people-from-downtown-and-east-downtown-sidewalks/ The impact isn't that the homeless suddenly have homes. The impact is that they're moving to other nearby areas. Perhaps it dilutes the appearance of homelessness but the numbers must be close to the same. I was up early on Saturday and went to a coffee shop in the GOOF area. Shopping center at 34th & Ella. A homeless person was using one of the shopping center walls/corner as a urinal while passing through. Do we all now have to accept more homeless to clean up downtown? Is this some action to make downtown/EADO more attractive for the World Cup next year?

It's not that bad unless you've got weather to deal with. Independence, OTOH, is sketchy as fuck. Last time I drove that I was certain one of the vans with rafts on the trailer was gonna hit me and send me off the edge. -

we played 18 Sunday morning....one of my buddies marks his ball about four feet from the cup and says to the other, who is a good 45+ feet away, "is my mark in your line?" I'm standing right there, the mark is clearly in the line, but it ain't my business. Buddy says, "nah, I'll never make it" and putts. The ball hits the mark, bounces a little bit and goes in the hole. and then I watched HG2 last night so...how long until "patrons" are yelling "that's what she said!" when Xander tees off?

Dem Strategeries For Mass Cult Reprogramming
wildcat09 replied to Al Bundy's Napoleon Hand's topic in Cloak Room
Why do so many people constantly talk about a fake version of the Democratic party that's even worse at politics than the real Democratic party? Why is their "solution" to the problems of this fake party always what the real party has been doing (and which has proven insufficient)? Dems have been trying to hide from social issues, duck culture war shit, and focus on kitchen table issues every single election since 1992. When do you think that will start actually working? Before or after they've herded us all into gas chambers? Ducking from culture war fights is how you lose the fucking culture war and that fight is much more important to most people than economic issues they don't understand. When you tell voters that your opponents are right on their culture war shit, you're telling them to vote for your opponents. THAT is what has driven people to vote Republican. It wasn't telling them that we support trans rights, it was refusing to tell them they should too. -
That couldn't happen to a more deserving fellow. He sold out every principle he ever had for Trump and it would be fitting if it's his turn for the leopards to eat his face.

I remember the uproar when Sherrill was hired for something like 250k per year. People couldn't believe a head coach making more than the university president. At least aggy was on the cutting edge of something.
