You're right though, this is all as meaningful as any other public press announcement.

Similar story but different angle. My dad is a very conservative christian bible beater (think Footloose level crazy). He took us to from From Dusk Til Dawn (Rodriguez and Tarantino) thinking it was a simple vampire flick. He didn't pay attention to the rating for some reason. The opening scene is shot in a strip club where all the strippers turn into vampires. I'm still to this day shocked he didn't drag me and my brother out of the theater right there. I don't know what was more entertaining, the boobs or seeing my dad be as uncomfortable as he was. I'll never forget the look on his face. -
Guess who is going to win if Nagy really thinks they need to recruit someone and Venables objects.

That's a fair discussion and I don't have a good answer. I know logically that airplanes are the safest way to travel. But sometimes turbulence scares me on a non-logical level. No real logic to the fear. Just happens. I even know in my head 'you're being stupid right now.' Doesn't always stop it. I personally don't believe in an afterlife. And I mean no offense at all to those who do. But I grew up believing in one so death wasn't scary, it was just the next phase. Now I personally hate the idea of non existence. I know one day its coming and there is nothing I can do about it. But I still hate the idea. But I hate even more the idea of losing my brain as a I go out. I guess its the ego. I hate the idea of being confused and lost even more so than we are on a regular basis. I'm also very aware that I'm lucky enough to be enjoying life in my fifties way more than my 30s. I live in a place I love with people I love. Related to your question I absolutely give attention and gratitude to the every day of existence (and knowledge of said existence). I relish all the discussions with my teenagers whenever they happen. I'm quite attuned to the impermanence of it all and try to just be mindful of the moment. But yeah, seeing my otherwise healthy Father start to lose it causes me to be a bit sad, a bit depressed, a bit fearful. Sorry for the ramble.

And for a more subtle take, the flugelhorns in this one along with the horn stabs in the break are awesome, if easy: ahem

Correct about OU. After the dorm/rape/drug scandals did in Switzer, the fact they spent the balance of the 90's in the crapper going thru four coaching changes was a just punishment in lieu of the death penalty. -
In a month or two after the swelling goes down we will find out.

My biggest disappointment is they didn't somehow work in a random fight with Drew Carrey.

Sure but as a non-native/resident are you gonna choose a chain over a local spot that's at least supposed to be good? That seems crazy to me. -
Solid point about Tigers. Glory goes to the bold. 🏆 Nobody ever made a movie about a GM that did what that idiot Chandler “Mr Smartest Guy In The Room” Rome said.

I know they had a trumpet at one point but when I listen to that track I think you're correct. My new addition, which some will scoff at, but screw that, Lionel is a badass, and the horn break is awesome, plus flugelhorns on the comedown:

Congo traumatized me as a kid and for some reason the The Crow also scared the shit out me. There are many other movies that scared me as a kid that I don’t know the name of because I only saw parts of them on HBO at my grandma house. -

I chose Shake Shack over Cooper's BBQ every time. I could also find many places better than Shake Shack.
