  1. Past hour
  2. After reading the football forum I tend to agree with you.
  3. He'll never live this down. Lulz.
  4. Meanwhile onds just diluted the shit out of themselves. 40M shares at $5 offering, looks like total shares were 270M count.
  5. It does my Gen X heart proud to see a cursive G that's close to the version we spent countless hours on repetitive worksheets perfecting in 2nd grade only to never write a G like that in the real world.
  6. I haven't been there in a while but the answer used to be Woody's in Centerville
  7. Shane Gillis has at least one extra chromosome.
  8. female wanna be Jeff Foxworthy
  9. Great beach club at Mauna Lani.
  10. Aerohorn nailed it. If all wins were created equal, beating a D3 team would matter as much as beating Ohio State. But they are not, and it does not. The Texas team that is ranked, e.g., above Oklahoma has a significant continuity with the Texas team that beat OU and Michigan last year. Polls are imperfect, and there would be future upsets of higher-ranked teams by lower even if there were a perfect way to rank teams today. Nevertheless, the idea that people should not hold or express the opinion (polls being the collected opinions of groups) that some teams with lower win percentages as of game 2 are better than some with better is fatuous. Maybe Kent State could play middle school teams during the summer and be the rightful #1 for being 7-0 before the season starts for anyone else. Then you could have a win over #1!
  11. We should cancel him
  12. The university administrators bit is just blatantly untrue. It’s been a problem for years. Universities have set pretty ugly precedent on this front. FIRE is a great group that takes an extremely principled stance on this. https://www.thefire.org/news/report-scholars-punished-their-speech-skyrocketed-over-last-three-years
  13. Pat McAfee, and his girlfriend Fat McAfee make an appearance at 2:45
  14. If it works it works, but I can’t do tennis and the gym and be functionally active (spent 2 hours mowing the lawn last night just for fun) without carbs. And when I first started lifting and doing HIIT workouts again I was fucking ravenous. I was probably eating 3000 calories on work out days easily. mad props to you if you can calorie restrict, target carbs as the cut out and work out vigorously all at the same time. But it sounds like he may have you in zone two - just burn some calories to juice your weight loss efforts. but when you get to increasing oxygen capacity, max blood flow, building strength, I think carbs become really important. the only other thing I’ll say is carbs from rice, potatoes, fruits and vegetables are unlike carbs from flour based foods. I 100% understand eliminating wheat and flour. to me though, the only nutrition plan that makes sense to me is the anti-inflammatory/med diet with limited wheat and flour and if you use it, make sure it’s heirloom / ancient wheat grain. Oh and on the benefits of rice … Another thing about rice, it makes a complete protein with beans added. we are all just dummies on the internet so if you’ve hired someone who has a path forward for you that works just do it.
  15. There’s still about a decade before we have to make the call, but at this point I’ll consider it a failure if my kids end up going to school in state.
  16. You don’t want to make it political but you write crap like this. You seem to be part of the problem.
  17. NFL stadium security is pathetic. I’m surprised we don’t have someone killed in one of these altercations. I only go if I work the game and if they give me a parking pass. Otherwise, I stay away.
  18. Both sides, guys, both sides!
  19. Sark slippin’ into SFla and stealin’ their candy …
  20. Imagine thinking there will be consequences for a rich person.
  21. As usual, Houston fans and LA fans are trash
  22. I couldn’t have a conversation with my daughter sitting next to me without yelling. The volume remains an abomination, an unyielding, unrelenting, constant assault on the senses. Also the rotating pictures of our players on the video board is just stupid. If a guy makes a play and you want to show his pic/bio, sure that makes sense. But I don’t get the rotating slide show. A complete waste of space I think I’m done with the home games, which absolutely sucks now that I have a kid at UT. I’ll see you in Dallas but otherwise?
  23. Cities spend stupid money on stupid crap - news at 11:00. Probably 15 years ago, the City of Georgetown spent over $100k for the design of their new logo. It's a cursive uppercase letter G. City of Round Rock built a nice sign on 1-35 south as you enter from Georgetown. If you look closely you'll see mountains and pine trees. You know what doesn't represent Round Rock in any way? Mountains and pine trees. One thing is true across all levels of government, regardless of ideology or political affiliation - its easy to spend other people's money.
