  9. This is the main thing I think people gloss over, subconsciously or not. The other thing is the notion that any mega artist made it just because of musical talent.
  10. I will add all of the lawyer focused and marketed solutions that I’ve seen so far suck though. Redline functions are absolute hot garbage right now - two reasons - redlining even basic documents requires understanding of intense factual scenarios, leverage and more important perceived leverage and lastly the ability to make sound judgment in light of those intense factual and subjective inquiries. Most think redlining is like coding, it’s not, redlining documents, is more like arguing with your husband or wife than it is creating software code or rummaging through medical symptoms in aid of a differential diagnosis. i don’t know how much time is needed for AI to develop that skill or if it ever will but from an output/results perspective it’s no where close.
  11. That’s a bullshit ruling.
  12. You are forgetting their Qatar connections.
  13. Tough shitski. She deserves it after being married to that sweaty Cajun Jabba the Hutt.
  14. I used my own instance of chatGPT to help with an internal investigation in a workplace sexual harassment claim a few weeks back. I de-identified all parties, fed the witness statements and management reports into AI, asked for interview questions for the accused, recommendations that then formed the basis of an AI generated firm memo, a client memo, notice of termination, and email updates to the victim and witnesses. now the most important part is I knew what the outcome should be but with that expertise AI saved me 4 or so hours and the client 4 or so hours and I did not do that crap work I hate (preparing interview questions, memos etc.). All drafts were reworked with AI 4-5 times and then human revisions at least twice. Factual inaccuracies had to be removed and reworked but in the end we had an 8-10 hour project reduced to 4-6 hours and I didn’t have to do any of the shit work. in that case it was pretty damn good.

    Getting old sucks

Glasses for the last 70 years. Not convenient, but the earpieces ride well on the grooves in my skull. No fingers in my eye, please.
  20. That's not a universal truth, at all. You do realize that voice training is a thing, right? My sis is a classical voice coach, she has worked with the biggest stars in the opera world. She makes her hay by teaching young singers how to improve their pitch, timbre, enunciation, etc. By "young" I mean "just graduated from Juilliard, etc." up throughout much of their pro career. Hell, Madonna became a much better singer once she got formal voice training in her mid-30s to perform "Evita". I have no idea what Taylor Swift has done in that regard. Sure, but that doesn't mean everyone can do it w/o training.
